Excellent value for money, especially if you're travelling with kids. Located just across the Quebec side of the Quebec bridge. The hotel is far from busy downtown life (10 mins. by car), but if you're travelling by car anyway, it's the perfect location. The rooms were big and well-kept. There's a nearby supermarket (METRO) where you can get snacks for your downtown trips or evening nightcaps. It has a no-nonsense approach, but has very friendly staff. 所有评语 » everyone was great, helpfull and ,friendly from the reception staff to the dining room staff, I can;t say enough about the room clean with all the amenities ,that we needed, the bed was comfortable, I was traveling with my sister ,the girls at the front desk ,assissed us with how best to see Quebec city ,where to get the bus, which was right across from the hotel ,also the food was great in the dining room. Great location - 10 mins by bus to city centre (6 km). Quiet area. a Big shop is near the hotel, also there is a great restaurant near by. 600 m to train station and 10 km far from airport. Very clean and cozy hotel. There is a fridge in the room, which is very convenient. Awesome shower!. What was not to like as soon as we walked in we were greeted by very friendly staff and the place was immaculate. I have all ready recommended this place and will continue to do so . Thank you for the great accommodations. The reception staff were very welcoming and efficient, the room was spacious and clean. There was a free shuttle to Quebec City and it was within walking distance of Via Rail. I would recommend this hotel. 4* hotel in all aspects. Staff, I have never met such a friendly, welcomed persons in a hotel, rooms are very nice and clean, we feel like we are at our home. And they have a very nice fine dining restaurant . The staff at the front desk were very friendly and knowledgeable. They would go out of their way to help you out. Also the artwork around the property and in the rooms is great. yes the location and the great service made my stay on the way north helpful and knowlegable too, coffee machines are my nemesis and the room service was great.. The bed is so confortable. absolutely nothing. breakfast was not included. We ate at the adjoining restaurant and felt very uncomfortable. One of the waiters never spoke a word to us or smiled. We were disappointment that we were treated poorly, especially since it was a 4 star restaurant and very pricy. You need a car to get to the centre of Quebec or take the shuttle (goes 2x a day) or take a regular bus (bus stop closeby) The wait in the breakfast restaurant is a bit long. Nothing at all!. Just a few small things: they could invest a bit in softer towels. Also, the colur scheme could be lightened up a bit... Iron in the room is not doing the job. I tried to use it but my shirt still looked wrinkled. It's not powerf ul. Next time I will bring my oen. Nothing. Could be a little closer to Old Quebec. Minor detail. Prices in the on-site restaurant was very expensive. However clean and new, the room was very cramped and the bathroom had little or no space to put toiletries. It had it all, but just squeezed together!. Better pillows The bar area, too small. heat/cool unit in room is run strictly by thermostat; could never get room temperature to be comfortable; heat or A/C was on, no switch to turn off. The kitchen and dining room were divided by a hallway which also connects the lobby to the rooms. No warning signs; High risk of accident by collision of waiters with guests. Price is a bit expensive.. We visited the restaurant thursday evening on the20th at 8:20pm. The person who greeted us was extremely rude and ignorant. He told my family that they were not a fast food restaurant and to look at the menu first and to hurry becuase they are closing in 10 minutes. We walked out. I will not use this resteraunt for dinner as long as this person is employed at this location. He is awful, and is an embarassment to this excellent establishment. Almost missed exit off freeway; seems exit not well marked; it would be nice if breakfast was included; we did have breakfast at attached restaurant (waitress was cranky) but food was good. HVAC/ thermostat system was confusing. Twice we had both a/c and heat on in the room at the same time. Check-out staff too officious and never asked how our stay was. They do not accept payment with Visa travel money!. Restaurant is expensive. no decaf coffee in room dinky coffee machine (keurig machines in other best westerns). you can hear everything going on in the next room and in the hallways. The L'Aristocrate restaurant is out of step (much to aristocrat & expensive) with the overall facility. It does not accommodate the family or common middle class quests. Most travellers could not afford nor want this class of dining. It was a bit too far away from the city, but worth the travel to the old city for the comfort of the hotel. We had requested a room near the elevator, but was given a room far from the entrance.We have mobility problem. We weren't able to control the temperature in the room. When we called the front desk, they told me "It's normal, we close the ac when it's cold outside." Then in the room, it was so hot (23-24) and we didn't slept really well. Lack of handicap bars in the shower. The heat or air was always running you could not just turn it off. Swimming pool hours should be extended from 10am-8pm to 8am-10pm. they shouldn't charge for a bottled water and the goodies.
