  This motel is very convenient to the freeway and the westside of Los Angeles. It is not real close to the beach communities, but easy to drive to them. Close to ucla and Downtown Culver City. The staff is friendly and the room we stayed in was newly refurbished. Very clean. Across the street is a great Chinese restaurant, to the south is Cafe Laur... vad folk säger » ant (great) ant to the north some fast food. All within walking distance. We always stay here when we have to come to la for appointments. - Room was clean with a comfortable bed. There was a fridge but you have to remember to turn it on. The location and proximity to the fwy is great!! Close to Venice Beach, Santa Monica. We stayed because we were going to the Getty Museum and it was an easy drive from there. Found a great Wine Bar called Sara's 15 mins away that had great wines and food. Very generous pours.

  This place is fine really. Seemed newly refurbished and the staff were friendly. Really well located for downtown SM and the beach where most accommodation is very pricey. - second time staying here, great for a budget night or two. Just 10 minutes brisk walk from Main Street, Santa Monica.

  It was very clean, nice bed and lcd tv. - Location was perfect. Walking distance to Hollywood Blvd, and also very close by car to Bevelry Hills and Melrose Street. The room was nicely decorated. Good breakfast, and friendly staff.

  We stayed at this hotel in July 2013 for 4 nights. It was myself, hubby and our 13 year old daughter. We really enjoyed our stayed at this hotel. The location is great, you can walk along Hollywood Boulevard to the 'strip' and it was only 10min drive to Universal Studios which we visited during our stay. The room was very spacious, plenty of room for the 3 of us. It wa - I really enjoyed the time I had spent getting away with my husband. The front manager was very friendly and made us feel comfortable to be staying here.. I also LOVED the location of this hotel, there were so many fast food restaurants less than a mile away, banks, grocery stores, starbucks Yogurtland, and more!   This very low profile hotel is the best kept secret in hollywood. At first sight it doesn't seem to be the best choice. Yet in my opinion it is. I've been around la for a while in the various neighborhoods and in many different hotels. And the "Super 8" without the slightest of doubt was the best offer quality-pricewise. I could see the "HOLLYWOOD... vad folk säger » " sign right out my window as well as the huge houses perched in the hollywood hills.The bed was perfectly comfortable and had inmaculate linnens. In - In fact, this is a good price in relation to the quality. In the Neighbourhood, it might be the best (I've been in most budget hotels in Hollywood). Free Parking en centrally located. Wifi is strong en good enough to watch Netflix ;-) Breakfast is ok, enough choise and it's free!

  There was ample parking space, the staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good and much better than most motels I've stayed in. The rooms were large and spacious, decent tv channels and bathroom size was good. There was a microwave, a fridge, ironing board, everything you needed. There is really almost nothing not to like - Decent breakfast selection (waffles!), room was clean and ok. WiFi worked fine, you can use multiple devices at the same time, though you have to login on a website each time you (re-)connect. There were both a fridge and a microwave in our room. Lots of parking space, relatively close to Venice beach.

  I loved this place. The girl was old and out-dated, but I didn't hold it against her. Because she was built to last. And the current owners keep her impeccably clean and well-maintained. The internal courtyard with pool, Jacuzzi and beautiful garden were just magical. It lent a real spa-like oasis-type feel to the place. It was nice to have a mini fridge in the room in which I stored groceries and drinks I'd bought at Ralphs located two minutes away (by foot). Only 2 dollars to use the washing machine.   Location couldn't be any better near the airport. It is located in the middle of all the car rentals. We took the free shuttle to dollar rental cars and picked up our car there, from there it was in the same block. ( you can jump on this shuttle even if you didn't rent a car there. Further he nearness to he rental car pickup around he corner.
