good location. heating was on when I arrived so the room was nice and warm. Comfortable and very quiet. shower facility. Location was easy to find and next to services so options available onfood requirements. There was plenty of space in the room and it wasnicely decorated and furnished. Friendly staff. Good size rooms. Good facilities. Quiet location. Comfortable beds. location handy for stevenage and hitchen. where it is situated, cleanliness. Value for money and location.The hotel was convenient and fitted my requirements, namely clean, close to main roads and easy to find. It was basic but for a one night stay that is exactly what I was looking for, low cost but very functional. Easy access to all services and facilities we neede.The size of the room and shower cubicle. Your friendly staff. Quietness inside the room and my wife made good comment about the curtains blocking out light whilst drawn. well located clean and friendly. room was big and roomy.even though it was just off the A1M it was very quiet. Very convienent and nice seat in shower. The fact that we could check in late as we were driving long distance. A new hotel and very comfortable if you have a car.large rooms. I felt a few good pillows would have made the nights sleep that little bit more comfortable. Convenient location, comfortable bed, good shower. closed to fast food restaurants. Location. The towels were too small. breakfast. It was a bit noisy from the a1m but not too bad. Some items advertisedwere not at this hotel - look out for the asterisk that says 'not atBaldock'! Having the washbasin in the main room was odd but Ok. Thedecor of the bathroom was clean and presentable but they had obviouslyskimped on the tiles and fit when built. All just little observations -nothing that would stop me staying here again. TV channels not working properly, 1 channel missing. As a non smoker, the smell of stale tobacco smoke on the pillow and soft furnishings was a definite negative point.the air conditioning was not on and found it very noisy from road traffic and hard to sleep. Too warm. The cost of the broadband. The pillows could be more comfortable.no bar facilities or restaurant. the room was very hot. the air con did not cool the room down enough overnight. The night we stayed the air con was not working therefor the room was very hot during the night even with the window open. No reduction on the room rate was offerd for the lack of this facilitie. The fact that their credit card machine was not working and they did not give us a receipt. No Inclusive Breakfast Deal. No bar within complex; limited options to eat. the toilet is not clean. Some lights not working in room. Shower could have been cleaner.The bathroom was unclean (other peoples hair all over the floor) and the shower it self smelt !.
