  What was there not to like ? We were greeted, cared and catered for in a first class manner, by the professional and friendly staff at the Hotel. The food, which we had read so much about was superb - I have never eaten such delicious duck, ever. Breakfast was delicious and we were offered cooked eggs and bacon, as well as a buffet. I would think in the summer months it w - we visited the place in the winter season and we were the only guests. In summer the city is packed with young party goers. few rooms upstairs, downstairs is a good restaurant and bar with Buddhist charming decoration. bed comfortable, shower is good, room has lake view and large balcony. breakfast was as per our orders and included in the price. free parking. good WIFI.

  Everything was perfect,the Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful..the Breakfast is excellent and plenty of choices Restaurant food is excellent..close to the nicest part of Balaton lake..swimming pool at the hotel..i look forward to stay there again.. - Nice personnel, good breakfast, nice clean pool, clean rooms, good facilities.

This is a quaint hotel very typical of small Hungarian and Slovak hotels and should not be compared with 5 star "Best Western" , all samey-as-anywhere-else-style hotels.   It was very nice to see a familiar face upon my arrival, the same night porter was on duty that I had met on my last trip in May 2013. I had requested a late check out by email and although I had not received a reply my request was granted.
