  Magnificent view of caldera and sunsets, as described. Upon arrival were surprised to have a suite with fridge and cooking facilities instead of only a double room with extra cot as ordered. This was very beneficial as we saved money on breakfasts and enjoyed hospitality on our balcony. The hotel is absolutely incredible. Theroom is decorated to detail, beatiful!! And we felt as at home!   The staff, especially the proprietress, were really helpful friendly and thoughtful. They all spoke good English. We immediately felt at home - among friends. Our room was pleasant, airy and had a view of the sea from its balcony. We made good use of the tiny whitewashed traffic free streets (well apart from the occasional motorbike or mule train) that we accessed from the - Would recommend this hotel. Eva, the hostess is a wonderfully friendly and helpful person. We didn't arrive until midnight, she left us a welcome note and instructions about the key. She went so far as to make us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave to catch the midnight ferry. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean, and the beds are the softest I've experienced in Greece so far. The pool area is as good as any luxury hotel, and the outdoor gardens are lovely.

  Before we came there, we had a problem with credit card and despite this Coula, the owner of hotel didn't cancel our reservation, but took our word that we will be there on certain day and kept out room :-) She all of 3 days which we spent there.   First of all, the place is really nice and convenient for you to walk around the city center Fira. The apartment itself have awesome view of the caldera sea. Thats the best part of this place. Furthermore, this apartment is also suitable for couples that prefer more privacy stay. It offers breakfast for free which is tasty as well.   This is a fantastic boutique hotel located at the highest point of the caldera with breathtaking views - the best in Santorini. Position perfect it is just a few minutes walk to the shops and cafes of FIra yet away from the noise. Everything was perfect.   The lady that ran the hotel was lovely, and extremely helpful. The room was spacious and clean. A sort of family-run feel for such a big hotel. If I came back to Athens, I'd definitely stay here again. - The rooms were beautiful and very close to Fira, less than 10 minute walk. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

  Its all about the view so as you arrive and go thru the picture frame entrance its a wow feeling:) reception staff fabulous , friendly, helpful Great feel as Kavalari is built into the cliff. Amazing sitting on balcony it terrace at any time watching the view or lustening to the stillness or the donkey bells or the church bells. Lots if steps ever... vad folk säger » ywhere but that us Santorini and bit if fitness does us all good:) good continental bfast on the terrace and many cafes and restaurants immediate vici - Hotel had an amazing location right on the caldera, which is a must for Santorini. Just not worth the experience without it. People pay big money to eat at restaurants to get the same view you have from your hotel. Great staff that were nice and spoke English. Excellent continental breakfast. Reasonable price. Right in the mix of things near the golden road. They had air conditioning.
