  Everything and really everything was very good. We were there to visit Mount Atos; Hiljandar. The rooms and the whole hotel was very clean. It has the european standard. The rooms are big enough and from the rooms the view on the sea is great! The owner of the Hotel ' Efi' and everybody there, was very friendly and very helpful. We were very happy... vad folk säger » that we take the Hotel Filoxenia. And I'm sure that we will do it again. A big 'thank you' to Efi and Hotel Filoxenia! A Family from Düsseldorf - My friends and I really liked our stay at Filoxenia. The hotel is really close to Ouranoupoli. It is located a bit on the hill, so from the main porch you can have a wonderful view while you have breakfast in the morning or just relax after a long day. Rooms are very clean, comfortable for a stay of a few days and all around a nice green yard. Parking is also not an issue. Efi, the nice woman in charge, is also very nice, helpful and caring of her guests.

  When booking the hotel, we asked for a double bed. There was no available room with a double bed and they offered us a twin room with joined beds, which we accepted. When we arrived at the hotel, they apologized because they do not have a room with a double bed, but in two days one room with double bed will be available and we will switch rooms th... vad folk säger » en. We were very pleasantly surprised especially because we didn't insist on the double bed. After this warm welcome, everything was as we expected. V - Location of the hotel is just perfect, it's on the hill, in peaceful street and yet, so close to the main street and center of Ouranoupolis. The sea view from balcony is amazing. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is, although the same, always fresh, with good choice of food and drinks. Stuff is, without a doubt, very kind and friendly. At the end, you can choose any of several beautiful beaches close by, depending on whether you have a car or you walk.

  Position of the hotel is great. Hotel beach is clean, beach bar has wonderful food. The staff is very polite , nice and greet you with big smile and they are fast and very hardworking.   The host and personnel were very open, friendly and helpful. The rooms and the hotel open areas, in general, were very clean and well kept. The hotel is well situated in the town (close to center, supermarket, beach, etc.). Theopisti also has a large and confortable terrace, with tables, chairs, trees, basil and plenty of shade.   Pansion Irini is a wonderful place and we had an overall perfect stay. The hotel is much nicer than the pictures, the bed is very confortable, the linens are nice, and all the details are taken care with great attention. Irini welcomed us very nicely and stayed late to accomodate our late arrival. The view from the balcony is awesome and the place... vad folk säger » is very close to the sea and nice restaurants (check the restaurant Kritikos, best tavern in the region). The price is really moderate for this nice - Wonderful hotel, very nice and quiet. Great view to the sea and town of Ouranopolis from our balcony. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. I want to mention especially the staff: very professional and at the same time warm and friendly. The breakfasts were home-made delicious, especially cakes, made by Irini. Also I would greatly recommend to visit the restaurant Athos (it is located very near the hotel). We have never eaten so tasty seafood. Great thanks for our nice vacation!

Very clean hotel with large and comfortable rooms with all necessary amenities in a quiet location. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit and stay overnight in Ouranoupoli.   It was a very nice vacation for us and our golden retriever. Not only because Pansion Katerini offers few comfortable, neat and spacious rooms and apartments situated close to a beach. The best thing about Pansion Katerina is the family running this place. The people are very kind, generous, helpful, warm and openhearted. They were so friendly not... vad folk säger » only with us, but also with our friends staying next door. Our friends were treated like guests of Pansion Katerini. They were kindly invited to join - This Pansion was just right for our needs, and well within our budget. The location was great with sweeping views of the ocean and a reasonable walk to the tower and village. Our Hosts were very friendly and most helpful especially with our enquiries about Joice and Sydney Loch and their connection with the tower. I highly reccommend Katerina (the person) and her pansion to travellers who want a frienly and affordable stay in this remarkable part of Greece. Peter.
