  Went with a friend to Georgioupolis Beach Hotel to escape long British winter. Got excellent deal from travel agent, with free upgrade to a lovely pool view - ground floor. Flew with Ryanair from LeedsBradford airport and journey went without a hitch. Met at Chania airport by the Hotel's transport. Reception and check in very friendly and efficien... vad folk säger » t. Accommodation spacious and very well equipped and comfortabl - Location, nice price, friendly staff, suberb view and spacious room and balcony or terras. (At the front of the hotel) They have brand new mattresses of good quality! Not to hard and not to soft. Although start of the season, they had allready filled the pool. The grounds are very well maintained. Free Wifi is available. Maybe not yet in all the rooms. But at the pool and in the lounge/lobby it works fine.   Awesome! The best hotel ever seen! A cozy harmonious place with with a perfect considered design can not leave indifferent. Rooms are very clean and the owner Yannis (not sure about spelling the name) is very hospitable. There is a charming restaurant nearby - called Maria's restaurant. Here you can taste a truly greek food. The location and views... vad folk säger » a wonderful even far from the sea. - Beautifully restored, spacious, comfortable and with all the facilities we needed. Glorious views all the way to Mount Ida. Great sunrises. Nice little pool area as well. Maria's taverna just outside the houses is a fun place to eat authentic Cretan food and become part of village life as well.

Pretty ok breakfast (bread, sandwich, coffee, fresh orange juice), bar is open since morning till night so you can have different food and drinks for average in Crete... vad folk säger » prices, also u cn order food and eat near sea; 3. Room was cleaned every day; 4. Silent place but in 5-10 min drive with car u can have many shops and tavernas; 5.   Staff was incredible. They came out to meet us and introduced themselves to us when we arrived. Great family run place- very clean and nice. Close to beach and town- 300 meters, but very quiet and far enough to be away from things and relax and enjoy the area- the best of both worlds. Quiet, but very convenient!! Pool area was excellent.
