  Its all about the view so as you arrive and go thru the picture frame entrance its a wow feeling:) reception staff fabulous , friendly, helpful Great feel as Kavalari is built into the cliff. Amazing sitting on balcony it terrace at any time watching the view or lustening to the stillness or the donkey bells or the church bells. Just not worth the experience without it. People pay big money to eat at restaurants to get the same view you have from your hotel. Great staff that were nice and spoke English. Excellent continental breakfast. Reasonable price. Right in the mix of things near the golden road. They had air conditioning.

  after a 4 week trip travelling around Europe one of our stops was Santorini for 4 days. we chose Iriana apartments from the few but good trip advisor reviews. we are so glad we did. from the very first moment we arrived they made us feel so welcome and part of the family.   Everything was great... We stayed 8 days in Fira and the hotel is perfectly located in the very centre of the town, close to everything. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which was simply amazing... The caldera view from the private terrace is stunning, and there is no need to move from the room to enjoy the sunset. The view only is worth every pen... vad folk säger » ny that you pay for the room, which is a nice room (especially the bathroom and the huge jacuzzi!!!) but definetely what makes it a 5 star hotel room - We stayed at the Honeymoon Suite (who says that you can only book those when you're on honeymoon ;), so the steps were not an issue (the lift goes almost all the way down to the suite). Other reasons to book this suite: Large terrace overlooking the caldera (probably one of the best terracces in Fira!), great big bed in its own little "cave" - and there is a whirlpool in the bathroom.   The location was absolutely stunning as you would expect if you stay on the Calderra. Right in the heart of Thira. The room which was very clean was also gorgeous and quirky which was brilliant. The owner was extremely helpful and very welcoming. For a small fee he picked us up from the port and took us to the airport..   Amazing location (although a little difficult to find) with an envious view! One of the best sunsets I had was from the porch of our room. The room is actually an apartment - very spacious and tastefully decorated. The host live in the same building and are very hospitable and extremely friendly.   Stayed in the split-level studio- room was very clean all the time, spectacular view from our room balcony, ate breakfast there everyday, supermarket is a minute walk away. We stayed there for a short period of time but Eirini made us feel very welcome and gave us great advice with what to do with our time there so we could make the most of it. We did a tour that Eirini suggested and we loved it and anything we asked she answered with ease.   My husband and I spent 6 nigths at this hotel and we liked everything. Location is very convenient, near to Fira ( 5 minutes walking) but not too close to be noisy, in fact, the surroundings of the hotel were quiet and peaceful. Room was spacious and very clean. She helped us with finding places to eat, booking travel tours, arranging for a cab for the airport, and even getting a bottle of Vinsanto (Santorini's local cherry wine). The rooms were very nice and clean with private balconies overlo - We loved Costa Marina!! My twin sister and I took a girls trip and stayed here. It is not on the cliff side of Fira but is literally a 2 minute walk to the cliffside touristy area of Fira.You do get an ocean view from some rooms. The room was super spacious but minimilast.The staff are amazing and Marina is incredibly helpful (and gorgeous!). The Villa has a relationship with a fabulous restaurant in town and they also have deals with the local rental company which is great. We absolutely loved

  What a warm family! This is a family run business where the presence of the grandparents and kids give you the feeling of actually being with a Greek family. The rooms aren't big and a little dated, but cleaner than any other we've been in. Easy to find from the bus-station and you walk it in a straight line in 10min's.
