  We checked in at 12:30 am, after a long night of driving from Amsterdam. It happened to be my birthday as of 12: 01 am when we checked in. The man checking us in heard from my friend and I discussing that we just realized it was my birthday since it was past 12...He gave us a bottle of champagne and two glasses to celebrate my birthday.   Brook Lane Hostel was really easy to find when we were coming from railway station. Market can be confusing, remember you'll do the check in there. Finding food was easy! Hostel had lots of space for cooking, bath was lovely and the interior was youthful.   Good for its price. - It was a very nice hotel for an extremely reasonable price, I'm assuming it was because a buisness hotel and we were there on a Saturday.

  The room was quite large, with a comfortable bed, desk, chair and mini refrigerator. My credit card didn’t want to go through, but the employee at the desk was not troubled. I was able to pay cash a while later. No breakfast, but I wasn’t expecting any.   This hotel is good value for money, perhaps because it is about a fifteen minute walk from the heart of the city. My tip would be to walk through the nearby shopping complex, which leads onto the bridge across the railway and is a faster route into town.   The staff happily let me check-in to my room at as early as 9 a.m. which was so beyond expectation. The room was small but cozy and clean. The amenities were basic but as I just needed a nice and clean place to sleep, I was already satisfied. The train station is just within 5 minutes walk and the Old Town is just in a walking distance. - Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Location was great, about 5minutes walk through the main shopping district to the old town. They do an outstanding job providing basic accommodations. There was an issue with the Internet in the lobby, so they gave me free Internet in my room, which would normally be a charge.

  As we were arriving on the weekend, we received a call to give us the info needed to enter the building. Kirsten was very helpful in assisting us with the task of security doors etc - most grateful for a friendly, competent staff member who went out of her way to make our stay a pleasant one.
