  Negresco is truly a five star hotel. At 100 years old, it hasn't missed a beat. It combines lovely antiques with spectacular contemporary art. It is a visual candy store. Upon his return he showed us to a magnificent Art Deco decorated double, which also included a glittery silver bath, plus we had a fantastic view of the Mediterranean.   Arrived at sunset and the view could not have been more beautiful. We were warmly welcomed and check-in was very efficient. We were spending our last night on the Cote d'Azur at La Maison du Semanaire and the setting and value could not have better served our needs.   Our family had a wonderful time. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The spa was very nice. Breakfast was delicious and offered a huge variety for our teenagers with varying tastes. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even gave us 4 large bottles of water as we were leaving when they heard us talking about needing to find a store to buy ... vad folk säger » some for the car. Another staff member went out of his way to find a restaurant with specific cuisine for us and printed out a map. - Room interior was superb with great selection of bath amenities. Gym was well equipped and pool facilities were extensive including steam room and sauna. Location was good - nice and quiet being in a less busy street but still close to everything.
