  The director George Mikhailidi is very helpful and friendly, he speaks very good English. Ask for him if staff speaks few English. All staff is friendly. The location is very central, metro and economic restaurants or fast-food is neadby.   Staff was so nice,attentive and helpful. Check in and out was fast and easy, no waitings. No deposits at check in. Room (Mallorca) was very nice, cute and comfy. It was on the first floor with the views into the garden, where the outside terrace are in summer times. Might be in summer time there not much privicy, cuz out the window are tables of ... что говорят » the restaurant's terrace. But during winter time it's perfect. But anyway the room was great. Fast wi fi for free, complimentery 2 bottles of water, c - The hotel is a splendid old house in a very quiet area. Our room was very large and comfortable. The buffet breakfast (included) was excellent as was the restaurant in the evenings. However, the best feature of the hotel was the staff - friendly, helpful, and with fluent English. My wife found the bed a little too soft for her back - housekeeping quickly set up a mattress on the floor which solved the problem. In short - highly recommended.

Room was cozy and clean, wifi works perfect, morning meal is provided which is good, ladies in reception desk were really kind and nice, location was just perfect - so near to city center but not loud, and a good grocery store is just in 5 min.   The staff was very helpful. They spoke very good English and were able to help me with translation issues and directions. I had a room on the street side, which I was pleasantly surprised did not have much noise. The room was comfortable and clean. There were a couple of English speaking channels on the TV. I will stay at this hotel on my next visit. - I really appreciated the outstanding service that that the staff offered to us. While there, I had my passport stolen by a pickpocket on a bus and Svetlana, a staff member, took us to the police station and assisted us by acting as a translator. While enroute to the station, she gave us a running commnentary on the sights in St. Petersburg. The food in the two hotel resturants were excellent, but the one called Marius had more choices.

I booked a regular double with patio view but was upgraded to 2-level room with the Moika channel view (cannot thank the hotel staff enough for that!). The superior double was huge, the bathroom itself was the size of a regular room! It had everything we needed, including all the toiletries, bathrobes, slippers and complementary bottles of water.
