We liked the furnishing of the rooms and the great sea-view. The food offered at the hotel is excelent. We were really satisfied with the Le Select restaurant, which, although pricey, served us excellent meals. And our stay was even more enjoying because of the always helpfull staff.

  Everything, it's wonderful, the sea view, the big rooms, the best hotel in town, not by location but by everything else. THE place to stay if you've got a car in dubrovnik. (If you dont it's not so far though) - Stayed at the Uvala, not the Splendid: the room was large and very nice. We also used the indoor swimming pool.

  Our stay at Concordia apartments was excellent! It is very clean, modern, with all the equipment you might need. The owner is very kind and helpful! Our towels were changed every 2 days (which is unusual for apartments) and it was completely cleaned in the middle of our 10 days stay! Close to bus stops (100 yards) and a 10 minute trip to the old city. Taxi rank just past the bus stops. Supermarket approx 300 yards away.   The guests of Nike Apartments have a common terrace with a nice view of the Lapad Beach. The room and the bathroom are very clean. Every day (or at lest every 2 days) the owner changed the bath towels and the bed sheets. The owner is helpful and very friendly. The apartment is not in the old town but the station “Lapad Post Office” of bus 6 (to Pile Gate) is not very far (about 10 min of walking downhil - We enjoyed our studio. It had everything we need, it was clean, looking very nice, I think it would be great for a family with kids. The host was great, they welcome us even if we arrived at midnight because of some problems we had at the border. The place it's really 200m up the Lapad Beach and you have a nice view.

Free parking (in abundance), very easy to find, situated on the main road so if you are with a car very practical for trips to other towns along the coast (no need to enter the city). All in all, to me it seems like very good value for money. In most countries that I have been to you could find rooms like this only

  While we had to phone (the number is on the door) to let the owner know we had arrived he came promptly and let us in. No 24 hour staff but lots of useful information (including a Croatia Lonely Planet for use by guests). As it os said, it os about 1 km away from the City walls but it is a nice walk. Moreover, it is located near one of the only places where you can park your car for free. It has a wonderful view in the terrace and you really feel like you are at home. It has some beaches nearby with a classy restaurant.
