  The design of the hotel was out of this world. Stunning. Beautiful. Airy. So homely. The staff were so friendly, ever so efficient, above and beyond. It was natural too, not false.   We were very impressed with the facilities. Quite often although a hotel claims to have a gym and pool they rarely offer the sort of quality found at this Novotel. Great location for business in London; easy for tube to anywhere (from Barbican, five minutes walk away).   Nice check in experience - after asking staff about our welcome bottle of wine it arrived on ice to our room within minutes. An excellent way to start a night out. Room service was reduced by 25% between 3 and 5pm so had some food too. King Prawn Ceasar salad was great. The concierge was extremely helpfulin helping us with transport to the airport, as well as with suggestionsfor a nice restaurant. The kitchen is also very good.
