It was very close to shopping centre and so convenient especially during the wet weather. It suited me perfectly as I am slightly disabled and unable to walk for long distances. Beautiful decor. The room was tastefully decorated, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom has a relaxing view of the countryside.
The cottage is isolated, in a panoramic position: you can keep the curtains open without fear for your own privacy!

Great location for visiting Whipsnade Zoo as we were still able to walk into Dunstable in the evening where there were several good pubs and restaurants.

I had read reviews and I wondered whether it could live up to expectations. It did more than this. I enjoyed the peaceful location and took advantage of the close proximity to 'The Downs' to have a Sunday morning walk. Needed the walk to burn off the extra calories from the excellent breakfast. Carmel was wonderful. She took time out to talk to her guests and had a good rapport with everyone.

Everyone who staffed the hotel, the architectural and interior design, the Japanese influence seen through the selected artifacts and furniture all enriched the ambiance of St.Michael's Manor. The surrounding environment is beautiful. Just go and stay at this hotel. It is magnificent.
