Everything!! Maria and Rick were everything and more host's should
be. Kind, informative, helpful, and friendly where nothing was too much
trouble. The rooms were spacious and clean with great facilities and
lots of nice touches. Breakfasts were great and plentiful and we never
felt rushed and anything we wanted was there just for the asking. -

Much of the people staying at the B and B needed to leave before 7:30 and our breakfasts were ready for us at 6:45. We could easily walk to all the sites in Nelson. Good suggestions for activities.

Brilliant location, staff and willingness to help and fulfill all needs. The small things ie. 2 baggage racks and many other things well done. Clean comfortable laid out unit and very comfortable bed and pillows. Good value for money. I would definetely go back.

amazing! Giant spa tub the can easily fit a couple. Def highly recommend
for a couple wanting to come back and have a romantic evening. Perfect
location with walking distance to everything. Helpful info on where to
go. We arrive late in the evening and reception was closed but simply
was told to ring up when we arrived and they'd meet us, and they

The owner was very cordial and helpful. The accommodations were updated and comfortable. I was very close to the ocean and town. Easy to get around. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Nelson and the Beachside was one of the reasons. I highly recommend staying here.

We loved the old English Manor look, it was very quaint and very
appealing. Loved being able to have the big windows open in the
restuarant and the ducks on the little lake outside. Very clean and
comnfortable beds and very roomy for a studio.....we had a lovely time.

Very spacious, very comfortable. Well decorated, fireplace was a plus.
Kitchen was efficient and spotless. Staff very helpful and
professional. We had a malfunctioning washing machine, and the staff
completed the laundry, bringing it folded back to me. That was beyond
the call of duty.

My bags didn't arrive in Nelson with me and the motel owner was so lovely - she gave me a toothbrush and toothpaste and even offered me a t-shirt to sleep in! Talk about going the extra mile :-) -
Wonderful helpful staff. Nothing was to much bother.

I arrived a day earlier than anticipated and Andy went out of his way to accommodate me and my grandson and upgrading us to a larger suite. He couldn't have been more helpful with local knowledge and recommendations for dining etc as this was my first visit to Nelson. Looking forward to returning for a longer visit next time. -

We really appreciated the friendly helpful service. The staff went the 'extra mile' to look after us and to make sure that we had the things we needed. They even stored our gear while we were away walking the Heaphy track. This was really helpful. Good value for money. -

Great stay. Lovely spacious clean room with a view over a field. Lovely friendly staff. Had no issues with noise on the Thursday night we stayed so slept well. Easy walk into town to eat at one of many restaurants. Couldn't fault it. -
