My stay at the Karystion Hotel was great. The staff was incredibly gentle and kind with us, the rooms clean and confortable, and even the breakfast was fantastic. The location of the hotel was splendid. From our big balcony we had a marvellous view on the bay of Karystos. The street along the hotel has no big traffic and we could enjoy a very quiet night’s rest even with the windows full open. The rooms are very spacious and clean and gave us the feeling, when we entered, to be at home.

Large suite of two rooms, huge balcony with wonderful view. Very friendly staff, good breakfast. Very good place to use as a base for exploring Evia and Attica, 100 km from the airport (about 1 hour by car). Within 15 days we stayed here, we travelled around almost all Evia (except the northern end), three times were to Athens and even visited Meteora monasteries 320 km away. All in one-day trips, spending all nights in hotel.

It's a lovely place and the staff is really good. Being a family business, one can easily sense the greek hospitality. The room was really big and comfortable and the balcony was also big enough for someone to enjoy their morning coffee or tea while watching the whole area of Karystos. Generally, it was a good choice!
