  Fantastic location, right next to the Old Town and Old Castle. Not far from Krakowskoie Street and Nowy Swiat either. Very picturesque and in a grand building which is the home of the Polish Writers' Association within P.E.N. The apartment I stayed in was on the top floor and very large and had all you needed, including a fully equipped kitchen. B... wat mensen zeggen » reakfast was provided (spreads put in the fridge and fresh bread rolls delivered in the morning). - The rooms are very clean and very large with high ceilings. This place is very affordable given its central location, and the excellent views out to the Old Town and castle. There is a slow lift up to the third floor (where the hotel rooms are) if you have luggage, but it's often faster to walk up the stairs.

The owners were very helpful with taxis,advice on the best places to visit and on how to get about the City. A great service at a reasonable price and I would be happy to recommend Wawabed.
