  After quite a long journey from Galway, we received a lovely, warm welcome from our hostess. The view from The Waterside was absolutely beautiful (even in the rain!!!) and our bedroom and en suite were lovely. Breakfast was a choice from a range of food, which was great. Rooms are spotless, spacious, renovated, quiet, we got a beautiful view on the river. Very friendly stuff and nice breakfast in the morning. Def. good value for money!

  We hadden een lodge bij het hotel geboekt, die splinternieuw oogde en van alle luxe was voorzien. De ligging was goed, 3 minuten van het centrum van Kenmare - The Lodges were excellent, very well kitted to a high spec. Loved the touch of the fire log left for guests plus the tea/coffee/milk - very welcoming. - New and excellent place to stay.   Lovely friendly staff who greeted us each time and were really helpful and chatty. It had a family feel which was lovely. The breakfast was delicious and a full cooked breakfast was included in the room rate, not just a continental. The room was very comfortable and clean. There was also a very clean laundromat over the road which was handy an... wat mensen zeggen » d the hotel was at the top of the main street so we walked to fantastic shops and restaurants a few minutes down the road. There was also parking out - Stayed 1 night so that we would have an early start on our drive around the Ring of Kerry. Lansdowne was the perfect hotel for our brief stay. The staff was very friendly and even though there was no elevator, the staff was more than helpful in carrying very heavy bags up the beautiful staircase. I would definitely recommend to anyone that they stay at this fine hotel.
