Katarina is amazing - welcoming, knowledgable of things to do in the whole rethymno region and has real attention to detail. Location was amazing too - convenient for bus station and right in the quieter and beautiful streets of the Old Town. Organic olive oil soap and similar bath products, tea and coffee making facilities regularly replenished and a good hairdryer make this a luxury feel stay for a reasonable room rate. I hope her plans for restoration of the rest of this mansion are fulfille.
alle beoordelingen » Everything! We stayed in the maisonette and it fitted the bill perfectly, all facilities provided. Our hostess went beyond the call of duty and her staff could not have been more pleseant and obliging. The location was perfect for us to explore the town without having to walk miles and bearing in mind we were there for the Easter celebrations we were in a fairly quiet area. Thank you Katerina, Chrisoula and everyone else. The location is just in the old town and close to the castle, it's very easy to walk to castle, restaurants, shops. If you go there by bus, the bus station is 10-12 mins walk distance. Although this is a old Turkey building from the outside, the studio which we stayed was new and stylish, we were satisfied with the room. We had a good time in Rethymnon. The room was excellent (clean and modern with an historic touch) and the owner Katerina was very hospitable and helpful. The hotel is a few steps from the shopping streets, which means it was quiet enough, but only a short walk after your shopping or dinner. I would definitely go there again. Run by a friendly Greek couple. Katerina took care of us and even did our washing! Small guesthouse located along a cobble stoned path within the town's centre. Beautiful rooms with each differing from the others. Very spacious apartment with a large terrace. The small kitchenette was adequate and the bathroom had been modernised . Well worth choosing the maisonette. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. its direct in the Oldtown, with short distance to all places , museums, port and shopping area. Also good to reach as only abt 5 min to walk from central busstation. Perfect place for a romantic gateway. Cosy, clean and luxury room with double bed. Well equipped kitchen. Very close to the parking and the city centre. Location (in the heart of the old town), cleanliness, friendly staff. Katerina gives you handy tips for restaurants in the area. A cute place to stay!. Nice luxury room, ideal location for shopping. friendly staff,good location in the old town. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful. Central location and info about the town provided. Although the host was friendly, he can't provide enough travel information about restaurants and sights. But I think it was not a big problem of our stay. Bring some mosquito repellant. I didn't get bitten a lot, but when they did, they had a nasty bite. This is no fault of the hotel, just a heads up for the next guests!. It was tricky arriving late at night with a car as have to park outside the old town and then wheel luggage to hotel. A daylight arrival would have helped. Perhaps too authentic for comfort when it came to the bathroom. Small shower, water sprayed as there was no curtain. The kitchen also had a low arch before entering and my tall husband hit is head. bathroom lighting very dim. No real parking available. We were given a room on the ground floor which did not seem like the one we booked (although we had booked a studio).
