  The staff, especially the proprietress, were really helpful friendly and thoughtful. They all spoke good English. We immediately felt at home - among friends. Our room was pleasant, airy and had a view of the sea from its balcony. We made good use of the tiny whitewashed traffic free streets (well apart from the occasional motorbike or mule train) that we accessed from the - Would recommend this hotel. Eva, the hostess is a wonderfully friendly and helpful person. We didn't arrive until midnight, she left us a welcome note and instructions about the key. She went so far as to make us a take-away breakfast when we had to leave to catch the midnight ferry. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is meticulously clean, and the beds are the softest I've experienced in Greece so far. The pool area is as good as any luxury hotel, and the outdoor gardens are lovely.

  We liked everything about this hotel: location (beach right outside), transportation (airport pickup, bus right outside hotel going to town center in a few minutes, and hotel shuttle to port), clean and spacious rooms, complimentary breakfast with good varieties and quality, friendly staff and great food/wine services on beach!! Breakfast was extensive and food from the restaurant at hotel was absolutely delicious and affordable. Room was comfortable and on the doorstep of one of my favourite beaches.

  Stayed at the beautiful Medusa Resort in July. I can't recommend this place highly enough - It's biggest asset, apart from the incredible location, is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything to make our stay wonderful! The breakfasts were lovely, with enough choice to cater for anyone. The hotel is located directly on the beach (I think this is the only hotel in Plaka which is directly on the beach without the sand round between hotel and beach).   Porto Naxos is a fantastic hotel. The location, design, comfort and facilities are all top class. The staff couldn't have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. The walk to town only took about ten minutes and you can go via the beach in just a few minutes more. The lady at the reception next day asked us what we had paid, and without even our asking, she handed the cash back to us.
