  The two storey maisonette we stayed in was amazing. Very well furnished and modern equipment. It has everything a family needs for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Host family was friendly and hospitable to us . It has a very good view of the Libyan Sea and lot of green around the maisonette.   Rust, luxe, sfeer, persoonlijke aandacht. Echt een topper! - A really nice place for a relaxed vacation. Service is excellent, and the places really feels out of the way of regular tourism. A really charming "taberna" closeby serves really tasty food. The waitress/cook was a charming elderly woman (who doesn't speak english, but that was all the mo... wat mensen zeggen » re fun). The view from the place is great. There is a small shop on the ground where you can get some groceries - The facilities, the service, the friendliness of the owner, the atmosphere, the location, all are exceptional. The owner maintains a small store with basic supplies on the compound, which is very convenient considering that the ~30 people settlement is a long way from places with shops and does not offer any reasonable supply. The place is definitely worth driving the narrow road up to it.

  Modern, nicely furnished villa in a quiet location with great views and yet close (by car) to shops, restaurants and beaches. There is an attractive open air restaurant/bar, but it was not operating (at the end of September) which was a bit disappointing.   Ligging is ideaal. Als je de weg verder omhoog rijdt komt je in een klein dorpje met supermarkt en 2 tavernes, als je naar beneden rijdt ben je zo in Rethimnon. Het huis is ruim van opzet en super schoon. Twee badkamers waarvan 1 met bubbelbad. Heerlijk zwembad(je). Eigenaar super vriendelijk. Bij afrekenen nog lang onder genot van zelfgebrouwen s... wat mensen zeggen » terke drank (ben naam even kwijt) met elkaar gesproken. We kregen ook nog een fles mee (vermomd in sparood flesje). Ik zou zo weer terug gaan, helemaa - We really liked our stay in this beautiful apartment with private pool. Everything was very clean. We had an own bbq, a fully equipped kitchen, nice spacious rooms. Everything is just perfect. Good location, away from the crowded city center but still close by ( 10 min by car). We would defenitely recommend this place to others.
