  We stayed in the economy studio, and upon our arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of local wine. The location of the hotel was really ideal - It was just far enough outside of the city that we could walk to the beach in less than five minutes, and walk into the city in 20-30 minutes. The staff was also one of the most accommodating we have ever... wat mensen zeggen » had. She was extremely helpful in suggesting places for day trips and how to get to and from anywhere we went. She always offered to make any travel - Beautiful hotel, very clean and well looked after. Lovely private swimming pool that was kept spotless and never full. Plenty of sunbeds and poolside chairs. Breaskfast for 6euro (3 for kids) with plenty of options available Snacks available at lunchtime - limited but good value. Close proximity to beach - 2 minutes walk and a further beach at 5 minutes with more facilities. Bus stop for Chania at the end of the road - cost 1euro 10 and run regularly.   Staying at Falassarna Beach Hotel was an amazing experience, the hotel was very clean, the rooms were tided up every single day, the customer service was excellent and the definitely great value for money. We also got a huge room which had so much space and also a nice kitchen where one can easily cook a meal if you want to.   Very attractive hotel/apartment block located midway between town and the beach, so quiet and yet convenient. Nice pool (though surprisingly cold after a long, hot summer) and outdoor breakfast/lunch area. Staff very friendly and helpful - they even upgraded us to a 2 bed apartment overlooking the pool at no extra cost - because it was available! ... wat mensen zeggen » We understand that Malia can be pretty frenetic in mid summer, but Mid- September was just great and we loved the sandy beach and the Old Town - espec - Socrates is a lovely hotel. Very friendly owners, Eva and George. Absolutely perfect pool area, with comfortable sunbeds and a wonderful garden. We got clean towels every day and the room was perfectly cleaned. It was about 200 m to the bus stop (32) to Hersonissos and to the beach 200-250 M. The hotel is perfectly situated in the countryside quiet yet central. I would definitely go back. And the transfer service I great. (A family with 16 and 9 year old kids)

  Friendly hotel staff. Very clean, quiet, beautifully decorated and equipped room. Excellent position, only few hundred meters from the city center and easy to reach from the national road. - we loved everything. Pool looked and was fantastic.
