  The location was absolutely stunning as you would expect if you stay on the Calderra. Right in the heart of Thira. The room which was very clean was also gorgeous and quirky which was brilliant. The owner was extremely helpful and very welcoming. For a small fee he picked us up from the port and took us to the airport.. View from the room and the balcony are amazing. just hang out in the room is enough :) Especially the breakfast we had at the balcony.its just so amazing! Location is perfect too!! If I would come back to santolini I would come back to this hotel for sure

  Amazing location (although a little difficult to find) with an envious view! One of the best sunsets I had was from the porch of our room. The room is actually an apartment - very spacious and tastefully decorated. The host live in the same building and are very hospitable and extremely friendly. Breakfast that was provided was sufficient enough and the hosts catered to our every request without hesitation. Ov - The location is fantastic. The window is just facing the sea, and you can enjoy the breathtaking view of Aegean Sea, sunset, old port and panoramic view of Fira even in the room.   In the heart of Fira. Metres from the cable car and main tourist shopping area. Everything was within walking distance to Fira. Also the hotel was ideally situated for out of town excursions. 30 metres to our scooter and the main road out of the tourist hub. Staff were excellent, very helpful and professional. The hotel had many different tucked away patios and seating - Lava Suites & Lounge was the best hotel during my travel alone in Greece. I love everything there. Don't mention the location, amazing view you can see from the room and the terrace, the room facilities and decoration, the welcome wine and fruits. All staff there are nice and very helpful, especially Rigas, he is really professional, arranged a every just perfect.   My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 4 nights it is a family run business. The owners were very helpful and kept the place very clean. The breakfast was also good. The view was exceptional and the price for the hotel was great considering the two hotels on either side was triple in price they did have more amenities. We had to rent a car to... wat mensen zeggen » visit other places on the island Fira and Oia. Fira is about a 20 minute walk from the hotel which was not too bad considering the heat of about 90 - Perfect view. You can see the harbor, the volcano and the island's outline. It's a very private hotel because it's not in the middle of a city: quiet and no crowds around the area. The breakfast was not included (10€...), but we got a room with a kitchen, and we would cook our own breakfast and watch the gorgeous sights. There is also a LIDL supermarket very close if you need it. We also got a car, and the hotel was in a convenient place in the island to visit every spot: Fira, Oia, Akrotiri, P
