  We enjoyed Chania and the hotel very much. We live in Crete (East) but have not been to Chania before and we found the old port to be very beautiful. We loved the design of the hotel and the position for walking out and about the town. Especially we appreciated the help and attitude of the young girl receptionist who booked us in who was most he... wat mensen zeggen » lpful and courteous as were all the staff. We were staying overnight before flying from Chania airport for the 1st time and we did not realise the tow - Located a block from the harbor and right in the heart of Old Town Chania, Palazzo Duca is perfect! It is a fancy place--beautiful, clean, and polished. Every staff member is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our hotel room was a palace! Very comfortable king size bed, sitting area with table and chairs, patio with view of harbor with table and chairs, a kitchenette in the room stocked with dishes, utensils, cooking pans plus refrigerator. The bathroom was lovely with a heavenly large shower.

  The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a quick chat with them everyday. The rooms used to be cleaned every day. It was extremely important for us - people with little children. The 2 room apartment which we booked as one "with partial seaview" had a breathtaking seaview on the right of balcony (the sea is only 50-80m away) an... wat mensen zeggen » d a splendid mountainview on the left. The building is not that far away from historical downtown (20 - 25 min walking with children) but definitely i - It is the second time we visit Magia Apts. We like this place because it is close to old town and to the center and at the same time Magia Apts are quiet and peacefull. We are very satisfied from our stay at a clean and pleasant room and from the kindly staff.

  De ligging en de vriendelijke ontvangst - Thomais, the hostess, was the kindest, most helpful person I have encountered in my 50 years of travel. She brought my clothes to a laundromat; mailed a rare fruit specimen (legally) to the United States; and when I lost my cellphone, picked it up (after I left Crete) and mailed it home. The facilities at Madonna Studios are excellent, but the real difference is Thomais. - I liked the room which was big and bright, I could easily prepare my own dish as the cooker, coffee maker, kettle were provided or go to the tavern which was just across the street. the landlady was very helpful, kind and she even baked for us traditional cakes with cheese!! we had fresh flowers every day too.I stayed for 3 days and truly enjoyed it.

  The apartment is full of character, absolutely beautiful, spacious and well-furnished. Our rooms were cleaned every day to a very high standard with linens and towels refreshed regularly. The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful. Our entire stay was a pleasure and we would certainly recommend it to others. - Great location, centrally located in the old town and yet outside the heavily touristy area with its TShirt and towel shops and restaurant touts.. Tastefull interior with hardwood floor and antique furnitures. Best mattress of whole vacation. Nice and easy-going owner TV programm doesn't distract to much from the charmes of the city: there was exactly one channel on offer ;-)

  I stayed here for 8 days while travelling in early March, made to feel very welcome by Maria and Jannis. The apartment itself, very comfortable with very good facilities, including a small kitchenette with fridge, hot plate and small cooker. There are even laundry facilities too, very useful when travelling light. Excellent location, just about 1k... wat mensen zeggen » m west of Chania centre and about 75 metres from the nearest beach; 10-15 mins walk from the bus station, shopping and the old port. Car hire, bakers, - Maria, the owner is an absolute sweetheart! Don't have words enough to say how much we enjoyed the stay, her help and everything else. We were lost, so stopped in a corner and her son came to ask if I was looking for the apartment, we arrived very late, she received us with a big smile, gave us a map and explained everything. The apartment is lovely, we had the kitchen/living room, a bedroom the toilet and a balcony, there's air con, everything ver clean and nice. You can also borrow a parasol

  It was so near to the old port in the wonderful city of Chania. A wonderfully renovated old house The street was pedestrian so it was quiet, even though nearby there were plenty of café bars with many young people. The parking was free and we got directions so we found it quite easily. The room we had was lovely well designed and had coffee, tea,... wat mensen zeggen » sweets and water left for us. Excellent shower always hot water and the aircon was very good! We needed that as it was so hot. Would visit again. Lov - The best combination of quality and price what we ever had. If to say in one word - Amazing!!! We came only for one night but decide to stay one more night especially because of the hotel!!! Thanks to owner that you can keep this high level of quality. it is very seldom now. 10 of 10! We will come again definitely.

  Three or us lived in big house with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms - it was realy good price in town for those, who are looking for somthing different compares to standart hotels. When we looks around, souch a big place, we started to plan our next stay here, but with familys. There is second tarrace and balcony with deck chair to have sunbath. Location in old town, near venice harbour - Modern accommodation in the heart of old town of Chania - perfect location! Hospitality and helpfulness of the owners is worth 10 points out of 10 as well. Thanks again for arranged evening in the village! We loved your villa and will recommend it anytime!
