  I've came back from Royal Sun hotel few days ago. We spent there whole week, and if I will be ever back in Chania I will choose this same hotel one more time :). Hotel was nice, rooms were cleaned every day. View from hotel is great, you can see whole town center and the sea. Would recommend very highly for this this price bracket. - recently stayed for a week at the Arocaria Apartments. we booked a room with a view, and it was beautiful. the balcony has a great view looking over the marina. it is located literally 2-3 mins walk from the sandy beach and 15-20mins walk (along the coast) to chania. the rooms are basic, but all that we needed. staff are very friendly, rooms cleaned daily. I would definitely recommend staying here!

  Theo the owner was welcoming , carried our bags in and offered any help we needed. The room had a balcony with light, parasol and 2 chairs and table which made a great relaxing retreat. Air con worked well and was quiet. Good shower and always hot. The room was great value for money.   It's all about the view folks. Although we arrived late the previous evening, the smile on my wife's face when she through open the shutters on our first full day in Crete was priceless. OK, the room was compact, and the stairs are steep but Natasha & Dimitri made us feel very welcome on our modest budget. The meandering streets & photogenic alleys are right outside your back door. - Location is fantastic - right on the old Venetian harbour. The rooms are a bit dated but well equipped and quite comfortable. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. We had room 2 with 2 rooms and a balcony which was a great place to relax at any time of day or night.

  The apartments were lovely, a welcome change from hotels. There was plenty of space, bathroom lovely and cooking hob worked fine. Plenty of parking. Walk into Chania takes about half an hour, and beach only five minutes away. Our ferry to Crete was delayed by more than two hours so we were a bit worried, as the booking info said check-in was only ... wat mensen zeggen » open until 10.30pm. When we called up to explain, they assured us there'd.be someone at the bar until late, and when we were further delayed they stay - We added the half-board option and were spoilt by the chef and restaurant crew. Excellent food with good variations of international cuisine and Greek specialties. The hotel offers a cozy, familiar atmosphere. The location offers quick and easy acess to the major roads if you want to explore the Island by car. Easy to acess the City center of Chania by bus, taxi or car or just to take a walk along the beach.

I will come back as soon as possible!! - Situation. Close to the old town and the main activities. Nice view on the sea and close to the small beach at the end of the street. Don' t expect luxary in this place, it' s more like backpack but really convenient. There is a bar at the groung level so you can have your (nice) breakfast there or have a drink at night. It' s usually busy so a little bit noisy if you want to go to sleep at 8pm. Good experience, I' ll be there again if I' m back in Chania.
