I stayed in Santa Marina Plaza more than a week at the beginning of September 2013. I liked wonderful view from my terrace (front sea view room) and the beach. Very convinient location - not far from Chania and with many shops and restaurants near the hotel.

Excellent swimming pool, and even in August quiet (I estimate the hotel was 50÷ occupied, mainly with French who perhaps like days out so left the pool free for us !).

The best part for us was the great playground for children as we have a one year old child who absolutely loved it!!! Swimming pool is also great and child friendly. The other great part was the dinner buffet! Really great food to our surprise!!! Chef there is definitely a keeper! Beach is very close by.

This is a perfect hotel for any type of visitors who are looking for a quite rest on the beach. The stuff is very helpful and very friendly especially to small kids. Fantastic resort. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. As people have always been my first priority while travelling I can't
help saying a few words about the staff..
They are very professional, useful, always ready to help and superfriendly. All of them,starting from the reception guys and finishing by our housemaid, did their best to let us feel like at home.
I did regret we were staying only six days It was really sad to leave.
