  I liked the hotel and I like Best Western chain in general. Reception is open 24/7 (which is not a must in Finland at all), breakfast is good, the room was big enough and comfy enough, wi-fi was functioning. Closer to 4 stars I'd say. We parked for free right next to the entrance for free over the weekend. - I have been staying at this hotel for several years and enjoyed it. The hotel offers spa, healthy food both for breakfast and at the restaurant, splendid interior design. The staff is responsible and polite. It takes you 20 minutes by bus to the centre.   De3 kamer is lekker ruim en modern en stijlvol ingericht.. De bedden heerlijk en in de badkamer was de stortdouche heel prettig. Op zondag in het restaurant gedineerd en dat was heerlijk. Echt goed klaargemaakt. - zeer apart om in een oude gevangenis te zitten, ideaal om internet op de tv te kunnen hebben en goed en betaalbaar eten.

  Surprisingly large and surprisingly quiet as well, Domus Academica is a good place for those who like minimalism and is seld-contained. There are several buildings, including houses for living, swimming pool and sauna (the two last-mentioned are free for visitors: every morning from 7 till 8:30 for women and from 8:30 till 10 for men). Each room has a separate bathroom and a tiny kitchen, while the houseware could be borrowed from the kitchen - We just needed a quiet place where we could cook food, and rest between shopping and sightseeing, without carpets on the floor. It was very cheap compared to other self-catering options, and the windows effectively shut out noise from the streets. There wasn't an endless party going on as in some hostels.   I came to this lovely hotel to relax for a couple of days and my intention was a success due to the peaceful natural setting, excellent facilities and wonderful aqua park. The hotel is situated by the beautiful lake almost in the forest. The room rate is inclusive of rich breakfast, as well as aqua park in the morning and during the day. Stayed at the hotel on a business day, so that people in the spa was not much. The baby has received a great pleasure. Lived in the economy room, it was renovated, everything is new and clean. Breakfast was varied. Beautiful nature around the hotel.

  Conveniently located with respect to downtown, restaurants, waterfront, public transit. Accommodation was basic but functional (i.e. this is neither a luxury nor a business hotel). Pool and sauna were an added perk. The manager was very friendly and extremely helpful in a number of ways - arranged a babysitter for our daughter.
