The hotel is very clean and comfortable, and in a especially quiet location. Staff is helpful and fair, we hired 2 bikes from them and bought bus tickets from Hue to Hoi An. -

A luxurious yet affordable beach resort, serene and calm ambience, very relaxing. The buffet breakfast is lavish and delicious. The room is big enough to even accomodate 3 persons. Staff is friendly and efficient, got our transportation (pick up, send off and private tour) all arranged without a hitch.

We spent 4 nights at the Orchid Hotel in Hue. From the time we made our reservation, arranged for airport pick-up and throughout our stay the staff was very responsive and extremely helpful. From the time we booked, there was good communication with the hotel, who arranged pick up from the station, after we arrived on the overnight train from Hanoi. We've arrived at the hotel in the morning after 14 hour train journey from Hanoi. We were picked up by a very nice hotel rep from the train station ($4) who carried our 2 backpacks to the hotel for us and refused our help. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed warmly by the staff and invited to have breakfast since we were early and our room was being prepared. It was such a nice touch, we didn't expect it at all! Much appreciated after the long journey.

Valentine hotel has a very friendly manager and staff in general. The room and the whole hotel was very clean and tidy, the room spacious and well organised. The manager was not pushy into organised trips as in many places before but very helpful and willing to offer the best. A really nice stay indeed! -

This place blew our mind and ruined us for other resorts. Amazingly beautiful and peaceful and at a decent price. We had a deluxe room on the water with an astonishing view. The room, the bathroom, well just about everything was of the highest standard. Breakfast was included and was good. Because it's quite out of the way (Hué is at half an hour ride away) - you'll probably dine or have lunch at their restaurant, which has excellent food.

The best hotel I stayed at in Vietnam. Could not be better located, right at the river and bridge. Perfect comfort and ambience, French colonial style from 1901. Phantastic breakfast. Should also have had the Vietnamese diner there for VND 200.000. I also appreciated the pool very much. Excellent value for the money. -
