The view from the pool deck was just fabulous. Sugarbird was cosy but I would imagine nice in the heat of summer too. The fire place was lovely as was the open communal area. I loved the inner courtyard and interior design of the refurbished house, very nicely done. Beautiful scenery, great location and nice and quiet. -

The massive fireplace inside the living room just adds a lot to
atmosphere. We even had a braai (barbecue) sitting in the fireplace. The
hosts did everything to make our stay perfect (including braai lessons).
The whole decoration is self made with love for detail. Perfect place
for bird lovers.

Half portions of lunch ordered and was pleasantly surprised by the portion size.
Loved the modern bathroom with his and hers basins as well as the massive duo shower heads. Wow!
Close many wine tasting farms.

Magnificent vineyard setting with a backdrop of the surrounding mountains. Large, cool and comfortable rooms with spacious bathroom, separate toilet and a lovely patio shaded by vines overhead to relax & enjoy the view. Very friendly, accommodating staff and enjoyable meals. Many thanks to the gentleman that very kindly washed our well travelled car. Highly recommended!

We really love everything about Augusta Bay Guest House - the location, the staff / services, comfort, cleanliness. Its modern and have free and stable wi-fi in the room, individual parking lot and really facing the head front. There's no elevator but the staff helped us to bring our luggages up, so it OK. A lovely clean, spacious, luxurious guest house, with very comfortable rooms. The bathroom and shower were exceptionally good for getting in and out of with mobility problems.
Staff were most welcoming when we arrived and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfasts were excellent.
The location at the Heads is absolutely superb with an excellent restaurant only yards away.

Loved the pool and pool deck, my upstairs room with the beautiful terrace overlooking the mountains, the large shower, the complimentary sherry in the room (didn't last long!) and -mostly- Forest, the gorgeous Great Dane, a real gentle giant of a dog. - The staff is very friendly and there's an excellent service. As there were no other bookings in the main house Elisabeth the owner upgraded us to one of the better rooms upstairs and we had the whole house to ourselves. The house is beautifully decorated and great for a group as its self catering. Its a 2 minute walk from the bars, restaurants and beach in Camps Bays yet set far enough back to get great view

Very nice staff, Hardy knows all the nice winehouses to go to for winetastings.
Furthermore they also know a lot about the country in general and have good tips on places to go and see.

What's not to like?
The hotel is in the one of the most beautiful spots you've ever seen - surrounded by mountains on every side.
Even though it was freezing at night, the room was nice and cosy and warm.
Comfortable bed, huge spa-bath, extremely well-priced accommodation - oh and for breakfast we had the best bacon I've ever had.
