Hotel Sovereign Prague - Foto
Cosa dice la gente
Me and my wife Kátia were in Sovereign Hotel in Prague from October 29 to November 13, 2013. The Sovereign hotel is simply unique, it stays one block from main train station, Praha Hlavní Nadrazí, less than three minutes from rue Venceslau, and aproximately fifteen minutes pleasured walking to Old Town. All staffs are so gentles, inclusive we have got schedule to visit some places and cities nearby, our room is excellent and was carefully cleaned, we liked so much of the bed and pillows. The staff were very helpful, chatty and polite. They asked about our travels and were genuinely interested in what our plans were.
They had water at the reception (bonus!).
When asked the staff organised the room to be cleaned at a specific time as another traveller was coming to stay, there was no hesitation and they were happy to organise.
It's close to the main train station which connects to the tube as well as a direct bus to the airport. Two streets away from Wenceslas Square.
Breakfa.
The staff were wonderful. There were a couple that went over and above and brought fruit & juice to my room, shots of medicinal alcohol & even ran errands for me to the chemist and foreign exchange as I was so unwell the last few days of my stay. Breakfast was lovely and when they ran out of bacon they made me some fresh. It was lovely to see fresh kiwi fruit in such a small boutique hotel in Europe. I was very happy with my stay. Internet wifi in the bedroom was an absolute bonus .
Staff were excellent, especially Anna on the front desk. I had a problem with the airconditioning and the blinds in my room and was shifted the next morning with no fuss. Room was a bit small but adequate for our 3 night stay with a fridge and a safe. Shower had good pressure and the bed was extremely comfortable. Location is excellent on a side street so quiet but very close to Wencelas Square and an easy walk to the old town. Lots of restaurants in the area.
Convenient short walk to train and only 10 minutes to old town square
and shopping. Safe area. Breakfast fine. Dinner in restaurant was good
but we were the only diners there. Our waiter forgot to tell us the
specials which were posted in elevator. Hotel needs to promote or close
the restaurant. Room was fine, bright, big enough. Really nice linens
and bathroom good. Elevator and porter available. Good experience. Wood
stay there again.
The hotel is very comfortable, close to the shopping area and close to the old city ( around 10 blocks ). Very close to the State Opera and State Museum and two blocks from the main train station.
Very good breakfast, with a variety of food. I was a good bargain, booking one day in advance of the staying, since I moved from a terrible hotel in the district PRAGUE 2, called HOTEL TOSCA!.
We traveled to Prague in November and the highlight of our trip was definitely the hotel.. Ideal location (5 min walk from the Main Train Station), friendly staff, appetizing breakfast spread, complimentary sauna services and comfortable rooms.. A value for money boutique hotel; I would definitely recommend it to all types of travellers- business as well as leisure.
It was a great choice! I was positively surprised about the high quality of staff services, equipment of rooms and rich breakfast. The location was perfect for me since the next day i had to travel by train. It was only 5 mins by walking to the main train station. I highly recommended this hotel to my colleagues for future staying in Prague.
Right from the moment we arrived the staff made us very welcome. Whatever we asked they answered or helped us with. The room and hotel is very clean and the food both at Breakfast and in the restaurant in the evening were excelent. The hotel is a gem, right on the edge of where you want to be for a city break but still in a quiet street.
Fabulous location in the heart of Prague. The wellness centre is excellent. Awesome breakfast, very helpful staff. The floor could be improved though, the shower cubicle could do with more cleaning. Will definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to be in the shopping district in Prague. Totally enjoyed my stay, good value for money.
The room was very quiet. The bathroom had a bidet and was very user-friendly. There was plenty of bottled water at a good price and the room was equipped with an electric tea kettle. The location was walking distance to the train station and to the Opera house and National Museum. Excellent restaurant and breakfast.
it is a perfect hotel u can sleep peacefully rooms clean and comfortable, it is surrounded by shopping street, restaurants, historical monuments, Metro and exchange shops. they have wonderful helpful with smiley faces employees which makes you feel comfortable. for sure I will go there again if I visited Prague.
My husband and I found this hotel to be very comfortable and lovely to stay in. The staff were super friendly and helpful and our room was immaculate, quiet and attractively decorated. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and absolutely delicious. All in all,a great place to stay .
This is a nice and comfortable hotel, 3 min walk to Wenceslav Square and
10-15 min talk to the old town. The facilities are new and function
well, personnel is helpful and friendly. I liked the breakfast and the
fact that it was warm in the room which is usually the opposite in
Prague hotels.
Excellent location, 5 minutes walk to the center and public transport to the touristic areas. The spa facilities are basic but we saw it as a bonus. The room was small but clean and nicely furnished. We had a very comfortable stay at sovereign and would highly recommend it!.
Everyone was very helpful especially Kristyna at the front desk who facilitated some day trips for us. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. Location was lose to the main station. Would stay here again without reservation. Really enjoyed our stay.
Courteous helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms, lovely breakfast, and great location five minutes walk from the train station and ten-fifteen minutes walk from old town square, close to public transportation .. Stayed there 8 months ago and would go back in a heartbeat!.
The location was excellent with so much within easy walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was very good.
Would definitely stay again and will most definitely recommend you to other people who visit. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!.
I found the staff to be very friendly and approachable. The breakfast
had everything and we never felt rushed at any time. We also availed of
the restaurant for dinner on one night and really enjoyed it, the
customer discount was a lso a good idea.
The location of this hotel makes it, so near from the Opera, the Place Vancelas et the Old City. The staff is very helpful to accomodate you. Excellent breakfast. Better to get a room in the courtyard, the street might be a bit noisy.
We liked absolutely everything! Hotel is ideal for stay in Prague,
located at the very centre, close to shopping and sightseeings, friendly
and helpful staff. We had a very good rate as well, so the value for
money was excellent!!.
Welcoming drinks! The taxi was arranged from the airport at a good
price. Very nice rooms. Very close to the main attractions. They made
arrangements for our rooms to be close together and within reach of the
lift as we requested.
Breakfast was fantastic so much to choose from.
Location was perfect. Beds were very comfortable. Although we were overlooking a street, it was very quiet at night. All staff were friendly and helpful. Full marks from me x.
Ten minute walk to old town and charles bridge Hotel staff very helpful Very comfortable and clean room Excellent breakfast served until 11 am. Would recommend this hotel and will return for a longer stay next year.
Wonderful location; easy to reach train station and to get to shopping
and stores and tours. Staff pleasant and friendly and smiling. Nice
breakfast buffet. Staff acted concerned for our comforts, laundry, tour
interests.
A stylish, comfortable and warm hotel. Spotless clean, comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast choice and extremely friendly staff (especially Krystyna). Excellent location, quiet street but close to Wenceslas Square.
Location was perfect. Less than 10 minutes of easy walking from the train. Good wi-fi. Helpful staff and we enjoyed the inning room several days for lunch and it was excellent and. Very reasonable price.
The buffet breakfast with fresh products. The kettle with tea and coffee in the room was very convenient. No noise from the street in the room. The good assistance of the staff to know better the city.
location (close to Hlavni nadrazi(rail station) and Vaclavske Namesti). Also, easy to access to the airport because there is an airport suttle bus at the Hlavni nadrazi.
breakfast was very good.
the location of the Hotel being just one block away from the wenceslas square is the best part of the hotel, the hotel is also walking distance from all the famous sightseeing places in Prague.
A great bargain: ideal location- nearly everything within 10-15 minutes walk, and a metro station near the hotel , friendly staff, good breakfast, great value for money. highly recommended.
location to city sites and only 5minutes from Airport Express bus pick up point.Very clean, friendly staff, great breakfast and good sized bedrooms with free coffee and tea facilities..
Comfortable beds, close to sights, large clean bathrooms with shower stall instead of bathtub. Overall extremely clean and well cared for hotel. Very friendly staff.
Nothing too much trouble for the staff, very friendly and helpful. Easy walking to shops and old town. lovely choise of breakfast items. Quiet and comfortable rooms.
Central and near lots of sights. Near station so we could walk to catch the train to our next location - Vienna. Restaurant in hotel very good value and food nice.
Nice hotel with nice location. Good breakfast and nice service at the reception.Anything you ask they help you.Very nice and comfortable room.I liked it generally.
Food was great. The staff in particular were superb: Helpful, friendly. I especially want to single out Radek, the bellboy, and Karolina, the Restaurant Manager.
Location is fantastic -- close to center of city and close to train station. Staff was very nice. The included breakfast was great. My room was reasonably quiet.
Location is perfect, city center just around the corner. Clean rooms and great breakfast with many choices. Very friendly guy working in the bar and restaurant.
Very spacious room, comfortable bed and pillows and large bathroom with shower, bidet and various toiletries. Good choice for breakfast. Excellent location too.
Very close to the main railway station so ideal if traveling by train. Also very central and easy to get around the city on foot. Quiet and very comfortable.
Convenient location for Prague Main Railway Station and city centre. Clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, nice restaurant.
Staff was in general very nice and helpful.room was very clean and comfortable, though a bit warm. Five minute walk to the train station can't be beat.
Very fine hotel, location is excelent for city visits. Room size appropriate. Two minutes walk from Main railway station, 5 minutes walk from downtown.
Very well located and well refurbished quiet and comfy which made me feel relaxed. Staff are very sincere honest and super friendly, I'll be back :-).
Good location within yards of Wenceslas square and transport links. Helpful friendly staff, great breakfast choice, comfy beds what more do you want.
Location. Good isolation in rooms, could not near anything from other guests. Excellent breakfast with lots of choises. Can bacon be this crispy!.
The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful.
The breakfast was really good, lots of choice from hot breakfast, cereal, fruits and yoghurt.
Staff very pleasant and helpful
Relaxing place to stay
Great choice/ selection for breakfast
Clean and nicely decorated rooms
Great location.
Excellent location, only 2 mins from Wenceslas Square. Staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Spa was lovely.
every thing was so much good, I say, exclent.
The wifi was just a bit slow. There is no conditioner with the provided toiletries, I had to purchase my own.
Everything was great except the bed ! It was terrible !! Extremely soft ... I have never felt a bed like that other than a water bed and even then that had more support. I did not sleep well at all and wonder if all of the beds in the hotel were similar or I just got unlucky?.
Airconditioning in both rooms struggled to cope with the heatwave conditions. It was cooler in the passage outside the room.
Small and very used towels.
There is nothing I didn't like about the hotel but as a vegetarian I would suggest inclusion of more vegetarian options in the breakfast other than Baked Beans and Hash Brown.. :).
The only issue was the heat in the room. Very difficult to cool down. It was -15 outside and the windows were wide open...
Nothing to note.
Nothing.
WiFi is too slow, cleaning ladys making too much noise in the corridor
in the mornings, short curtain in the bathroom.
It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the old city center but this was not a burden. N.
Nothing.
I found the bedroom too hot during the night and the air conditioning
was too noisy, but if I am honest it was a very minor dislike!!!!!!!!.
Breakfast was a bit hit or miss. The 'Prague Tour' was arranged
by the Hotel but was actually nothing to do with them and therefore they
were not interested in our concerns. Ie the food was not good and they
wanted cash for payment.( The Lady at reception said they would take a
credit card.)There was also a lot of walking.
No residents bar for a nightcap but this would probably account for the hotel being very quiet at night.
It is hard to understand the Czech language and outside the hotel we
were sometimes uncertain what signs meant. Also, police didn't seem
helpful and there were too many beggars on the streets to feel
exceptionally good about Prague.
Nothing to dislike.
Room was small. We had to put our luggage away as there was no Place to put in. So in and out.
The freezing of the amount of money corresponding to one night many days in advance before the arrival, although such possibility was stated in their policy.
The shower place not big enough. In order to get hot water in the shower you need to leave water to run too long.
we stayed at the 4th floor. but
lift was only operated up to 3rd floor.
Nothing at all, i enjoyed my stay.
nothing to no like.
Breakfast was definitely the major disappointment. It was the same every day and poorly done. Bad scrambled eggs, over cooked hardboiled eggs, sausage and beans. It was a running joke how sad it was.
We had trouble finding it when we arrived and asked several people who had not heard of it!.
The staff was nice but not smiley. The cleaner ladies were cleaning very well but they were coming every day very late.Every day the room was not ready before 14:00. The fridge was full by mini-bar products and there was not any space for anything that you wanted to put in.
Just need to touch some painting on the walls of hotel room.
My room was a bit small -- okay for one person, but would be difficult for two.
Rooms were warm and not adjustable.
The light in the bathroom was pretty dim with only 1 small spot in the ceiling and a small light over the mirror.
Hot water supply was not always reliable.
Our first morning of our second stay I waited 15 minutes for more fried eggs to show up at the breakfast buffet and finally gave up because we needed to leave.
I prefer stiff bed, this one was way to soft ;) Bathroom could make a better impression considering this is **** hotel. Wi-Fi way too slow.
Very small room was a disappointment. No proper sitting area. Practically you can oly sit on your bed, which is very soft.
No hair conditioner available, only shampoo.
First night there was a strange smell coming from the bathroom, found that there was no plug in the sink and the smell was eminating from there. Was soon sorted though so didnt spoil our trip.
Cannot fault this hotel,.
