  This very low profile hotel is the best kept secret in hollywood. At first sight it doesn't seem to be the best choice. Yet in my opinion it is. I've been around la for a while in the various neighborhoods and in many different hotels. And the "Super 8" without the slightest of doubt was the best offer quality-pricewise.   I loved this place. The girl was old and out-dated, but I didn't hold it against her. Because she was built to last. And the current owners keep her impeccably clean and well-maintained. The internal courtyard with pool, Jacuzzi and beautiful garden were just magical. It lent a real spa-like oasis-type feel to the place. Laundry facilities were available at a reasonable cost, and the owners provided the laundry detergent for free. The - Very, very service-minded staff during the 8 days I stayed here. It was nice to have a mini fridge in the room in which I stored groceries and drinks I'd bought at Ralphs located two minutes away (by foot). Only 2 dollars to use the washing machine. The maids made sure our rooms were refreshed each day as we were there for a week.
