Our family of five stayed in one of her two story apartments and it worked very well for us. The deck over looking the valley below was spectacular at sunset. For a village feel you certainly get the warmth that prevailed throughout our stay in Anogeia. The owner of her favorite restaurant stopped by to personally invite us to come to his p - Mama is a delight-she speaks very little English but makes up for it with her enthusiastic hospitality (she gave my wife flowers when we left and was genuinely sad to see us go). The view from the expansive balcony of the mountains is amazing. Also, the sound of the bells round the goats/sheep necks lulls you to sleep. Quintessential Crete experience all round!
