  Warm and clean. Hot shower day & night. Staff were exceedingly helpful when I managed to loose a wallet and phone in a taxi home! Thank you all for your help. We took a short taxi ride to Tower Pier and went on the Thames from Tower Bridge to Westminster.   Good location just a couple of hundred metres from a dlr station and right by the Thames. Friendly, efficient welcome from obviously highly professional staff, who quickly changed the beds when we pointed out we'd booked a twin rather than a double. Although we had booked room only, because we were there for the London Marathon, the hotel provided fruit, a cereal bar and L - Staff was exceptional, I have never experienced such seamless service. While dining in the restaurant the staff noticed I was under the weather and made me a special tea. We were sitting in the lounge area and a staff member from the front desk noticed we needed refills on our beverages and alerted the food and beverage staff. I could go on and
