There are literally hundreds and hundreds of riads in the medina of Marrakech so I think we really landed on our feet with this one! Two females in their thirties travelling to morocco for a little sunshine and adventure, we stayed here before and after a week in Essaouira. The riad is simply beautiful with so many perfect little details we felt completely spoilt and on our return it was like coming home! Picked up from the airport at midnight and transported to this heavenly little home was pe.
kaikki arvostelut » The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great with different meals everyday which was served by the staff. We stayed at the Mata Hari room which was a decent size for two people. The rooms and bathroom were clean. The riad is tastefully decorated. The location is decent - about 10-15 mins walk from the main J'ma El Fna. It felt like a safe location and we walked back to the riad around 10.30 every night with no problems. The staff was just amazingly nice, answering all the questions and offering advice all the time! Breakfast was served anywhere in the hotel, at any time you choose, dinner was awfully nice (candles, flowers, rose petals on the table etc.). The room was fit for Marrakech - the colors, the smell of toiletries, the light, the song of birds in the morning. This was by far the best hotel experience I've had. Lovely peaceful retreat but still close to all the action of the Souks and the Djemaa El-Fna. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean rooms and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. As the Riad is small (only has about 7 rooms) the service was also very personal- thank you to all 7 staff members, especially Rahan, Abdul and Mohammed and of course Fatima the cook! Would definitely recommend!. Rahal & the team were outstandingly helpful. Rahal went to bus station to buy our tickets to Essaoura and even looked after our spare luggage & purchases while we went away (even though we were not returning to stay). Breakfasts were wonderful & different each day. Many thanks also to the 2 lovely cleaning ladies. Great staff. They were friendlly and they helped us with city maps trips around marrakech and everything that we needed. They answeer very fast to all our e-mails. The riad was very clean and nice with a moroccan design.If we goback we will definatly stay there again. Beautifully run with delightful charming staff who couldn't be more helpful. Felt like a luxury boutique hotel. Wonderful breakfasts on the terrace. Great Wifi receptioni. Very quiet and peaceful yet , though only twenty minutes from the Square. Although hidden away down an alleyway, a hidden oasis. Could not single out any of the staff (more like friends), willing to help with anything. Nice breakfast and mint tea at any time. Proximity to souks, restaurants, site seeing, etc. The staff were really helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The riad was beautifully decorated and very clean and peaceful. It was easy to get from there to the main areas in Marrakesh. I would definitely go back. Access to the city and markets from the hotel was excellent. The facilities were fastidiously cleaned and of a good standard. The lounge area at the hotel roof was very relaxing. Wifi was excellent. Stylish room, we stayed at the coco chanel room. Friendly staff and we were provided with a map and the receptionist took time to explain the things to see as well as how to get around marrakesh. * the friendliness and care of the staff * the lack of traffic noise * the varied breakfast each morning * the location meaning easy to walk to everywhere * the value for money. The staff were always friendly and very helpful and went the extra mile to ensure we were happy. They gave us some really great suggestions of things to do and places to eat. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the nice and safe atmosphere. It was also very beautiful in the riad, and we liked the fact that all rooms were different. Very friendly and helpful staff who made our short trip a wonderful experience. Cosy rooms and tastefully decorated interior and sundeck. We liked the hospitality, atmosphere and the willingness to help of the personell! We really felt home and welcome. an oasis in the heart of a busy city, friendly and helpful staff. like staying with family only better. Staff were excellent and due to the location in the Medina you get a 'Moroccan experience'. the staff were very helpful, lovely riad in the centre of the the madness. great location, friendly staff, nice room and a great price. The room is lovely designed. The staff is friendly. They offered us mint tea when we arrived and tell us about the location and tourist spots. Great staff always willing to help. nice staff and rooms. Only think I think could have been added is a full length mirror perhaps in the wardrobe... But that's really trying to find a fault!. The only complaint would be the wireless network wasn't great as the signal was low from our room. Not a complaint, just a word of advice. Like all Riads, not easy to find when you first arrive. Do take up their offer and be met by taxi at the airport when you first arrive. It's worth it. Room was not as big as photos insinuate. It was just a small point, but we feel that the hotel rooms should have a refrigerator. Keeping drinks cool is fairly fundemental in a hot location like Marrakech. We arranged for a wake up call but nobody woke us up. * the room we were in just happened to be near reception and the front door which meant it occasionally got a little noisier than we might have liked; they told us afterwards they would have gladly moved us so not an issue for other travellers. The breakfasts were yummy, but personally I would have liked to have a little fruit on offer too. Nothing. I really have nothing to comment on that fit this section. you have to walk to the riad: road is too narrow for a cab to get you there. It is only 2 or 3 minutes, but it is still a walk ... the price of being in the old city. The location is not very good. It is hard to find if you don't have someone bring you there at the first time. The room is located in the first floor and was very noisy. The bathroom has a constant sewage odor. location a bit far away from the markets and not easy to find.
