  Very friendly staff at check-in and very organized. This was my second stay at the Intercontinental, the first time I stayed in the penthouse suite at the top for a wedding. This time I returned with my boyfriend and we were upgraded to one of the new rooms with a direct view of the CN tower and Ripleys Aquarium which was beautiful. We received great guidance from a man at the concierge desk for good restaurants nearby and ended up really enjoying our experi - The hotel is spotlessly clean and staff are very helpful, especially Todd from the Intercontinental Club. I highly recommend the Club for its excellent business facilities and the tasty snacks. The room was overlooking the CN tower, the bed was very comfortable and the selection of pillows was excellent. The swimming pool and the spa are very nice.

  I meant to write 'enjoyed' last time. The staff are wonderful, and the prices in the bar are fair (one time I had 2 guests, and we had 2 coffees, a dessert and a hot chocolate, and the bill was only cad$13.00!   I appreciated the warm welcome at the reception. I was in the Gold Lounge and had some excellent facilities like wifi, breakfast, books and newspapers. The every one of the staff members were incredibly friendly, the valet, front desk, even the janitor! The location is amazing. You're right downtown Ottawa, parliament hill is right next door, the byward market is a 2 minute walk away and you're also right by the rideau mall and numerous museums.

  I loved the beautiful location. It is so tranquil. The bath tub is so easy and safe to get out of, which is really saying something for a senior. Seafood dishes were excellent!! - Was there for my brothers wedding. Service was excellent, beautiful setting. Wonderful staff, good food.

  I enjoyed the stay at the hotel. When checking in at the front desk, was informed that I had been selected as their Guest of the Day and upgraded to a suite for no extra charge. I was very surprised and appreciative of this gesture. We were in town for a family wedding and were able to entertain guests in the suite comfortably in the sitting area ... lo que la gente dice » with a great view of the city. - I like the Hyatt because it's close to Rogers Center, ACC, CN Tower etc. It is near fine dining and theater. It's in the heart of TIFF...so you may see celebrities....the New York Red Bulls soccer team was there on this particular weekend.
