As there is a direct train to Phan Theit from Saigon, we stopped her on our long (slow) trip to Hanoi, and chose Phan Theit over the more commercialised and touristy Mui Ne, we made the right choice, hotel was great and we were the only westerners, swimming pool was empty and picked a great local seafood restaurant on the front, the first one on the right the other side of the road. Our 2nd stay here. Last year our rating was 10 and while we consider this avery good hotel with excellent facilities we feel it does not warrant such a high rating now. The reasons are, 1. A musty smell when entering room. 2. Restaurant breakfast good but other meals and selection not up to previous standard.
