Very nice hotel. We stayed in one of the villas with private pool. The private pool was a little small, but then again, what can you expect at that price. The beach was very nice with a fair amount of waves and lifeguard present in daylight hours. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We decided to extend our stay with two days and the reception were very helpful in rebooking our plane tickets back to Hanoi.
all reviews » Very nice garden and we stayed an a apartment, nice room, with a patio towards the garden pool. Breakfast was good. Shuttle service worked well. Pick up at Airport worked very well, $25, itś a little cheaper to take a taxi. The site overall situation and offering ( facilities, leisure and sports with the exception of food variety) as well as decent rates. The location. The restaurant was overpriced and not that good, compared to restaurants in Hoi An. But there is an excelent local seafood restaurant on the beach very close by (turn left at the beach and walk for 100-200 meters). The restaurant was boring in the evening, no one there, everyone went to Hoi An to eat. And that what we suggest to do. Food was not that good and very expensive compared to what is found in Hoi An. No alternatives around the corner. Needed to send a fax and that was not so easy due to language and knowledge about fax and international calls. But it was free of charge. Nothing really, but I would class this hotel as a good 3 star. Small details separate this hotel from other 4 star hotels in which I've stayed in Vietnam . Le Belhamy does exude 4 or 5 star class, but perhaps I'm being fussy. It is not possible to walk to Hoi An. There is a 10 minute ride in a free shuttle bus or $6 by taxi. The garden could be a bit more lush!. expensive and awful a la carte lunch, dirty pool, phone not working, ac leaking, ac control not working, safe not working. Lack of quality food supply services ( when we were there in rather high season , the Vietnamese restaurant was closed , only the Champa international food restaurant was opened) and Restaurant staff should be trained to have a more friendly /smiling attitude enough and a more customers' oriented attitude.... The resort needs refurbishing. The pool towels had holes. The staff at reception were not up to standard, the staff at beach and pool did nothing at all. Only the porters cand house cleaning staff were ok.
