Good location. Ben Thanh market, War Remnants Museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Central Post Office and HCMC Museum all between 5 to 10 minute walking distances. The Manager, Mr Philips is a very helpful person. Although the breakfast is very basic but taste good. Staffs are friendly. Very quite place, no noise. About 2 rooms per floor, and there are 7 floors. All had windows. It is definitely good value for money. Close to Ben Thanh market (7 minutes walk) which is close to everything else. Situated on busy street so very safe. Spacious room.
all reviews » The room was large, clean, and quiet. The bathroom was simple and clean with plenty of hot water. Will stay at this hotel again. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment. The location is great with many places to eat nearby. The staff were helpful and courteous too. The Tulips Hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk away from the fantastic night market and within easy walking distance of all the major sights of HCMC. The room was spacious and comfortable and surprisingly peaceful given how busy the city is!. The staffs are helpful. It is value for money for a budget travellers like us. However, the room floor was wet when we got back to our hotel in the evening. We don't know where the water comes from. Overall, we enjoy our stay there. We choose twin deluxe room its big n comfortable same with the picture. Staff also fluent in English. Internet access ok. Breakfast also ok we choose bread for halal food. The areas of the hotel also ok nothing to worry. Location is near great. VND 160k taxi fare from the airport. Near to Bến Thành Market, Saigon Opera House, Saigon Central Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral and many 'Beauty Saloon'. Arranged tour to Cu Chi Tunnels. Very nice hotel, location is nearby the main tourist attraction, cafe such as starbucks and trung nguyen, 24 hours convenience store, ben thanh market, and many more interesting places over HCMC. The hotel was well positioned and our family suite was very large giving us ample room with 2 adults and 2 older kids. The staff were very friendly and happy to answer questions etc. We had a great stay at the tulips hotel, the staff were friendly, Always smiling, room was spacious, great location. Price was a bit high compared to Hanoi, Danang, Hue. WiFi line was not very stable. The staff speak broken english, you should talk slowly to them as the can understand what we ask for. If the owner around, ask them they are very nice and helpful. The hotel was great value for money but the room could do with some minor repairs - the bath leaked which meant the bathroom flooded when you had a shower, the shower alternated between hot and cold randomly, the blind at the window was broken etc. These are very minor things but can get irritating after 3-4 days. However, as I said the hotel was very budget friendly !!. The breakfast is very basic. It would certainly make the hotel more attractive if there was a greater variety of choices for breakfast. Bad wifi A dead roach in the bathroom. Nothing. I dont say or can see anything. Breakfast was only fair, but about as expected for the price. Inside room, it looks\smells like 60-70 years American building for rent, so may be some renovation…. But, anyway, it’s a not a problem. You can feel like you in US 20th century. when you ask for information like massage centre, they address you to an expensive one, maybe associated. breakfast low choice. bad coffee. Location. Cost of the laundry was too expensive. Maybe it will be too expensive to pay (24 per night) for a standard room. The room is smaller as expected, and it was noisy, the bath-room is small and not convenience, break-fast was not good,. So bad.
