The staff were all very professional, not just friendly and helpful. One feels very secure, in the event that you may need local help on any subject. I have never seen such a child friendly hotel. Children and parents are catered for brilliantly, yet it is also a perfectly suitable business meeting venue, which was the purpose of my trip. I will come to stay again with my own family. We rented the 3 bedroom suite. It was very spacious and comfortable, with 3 bathrooms and a full kitchen. The complex also has a huge, clean swimming pool which we enjoyed as often as possible. The inhouse travel agent arranged some amazing day trips for us on the Mekong.
all reviews » The apartments are budget-friendly, especially since we had the 3-bedroom apartment, with kitchen, living room and dining area. The whole hotel was clean. The staff can converse well in English. They even helped us plan for our surprise for our Mother. The pool was great! Kids were stir crazy after 3 nights in a city hotel so was perfect to help them unwind and relax. Outside restaurant was right by the pool with good food. Over all a great stay, enjoyed by all the family. Very helpful staff and sorted out mis understanding with internet booking very qickly and to our benefit. Regards Richard. Shop appeared a little expensive, not a major though. Limited choices for breakfast; No major shops nearby. Nothing. Anything I mentioned would be petty!. The hotel is a little out of the action but there was never a problem getting taxis. nothing. The restaurant had too much western food. We came to vietnam to try the food and we had to go elswhere to experience it. Very average breakfast. Breakfast could have been a bit better, not a great deal of choice. It's a little bit hard to talk in english with the staff. a little faraway place. WIFI signal sometime very slow and taxi (Mailinh). Problems with air condition. Location a bit out of the way, though taxis are cheap. Cafe a bit small for size of the place. Construction work next door goes on all day. Requested 1 x double bed and 2 x single beds for 2 adults and 2 adult children. When we got there had 2 rooms both with double beds. Rang for assistance but told son would have to sleep on the couch ( this is after a 12 hour flight). Also asked for a reminder call for a train we had to catch at 7am. Call never came so we were late for the train. Did not have money change over facilities at reception. The staff and the manager repeatedly lied to me and a letsbookhotel.com representative. I was informed in person letsbookhotel.com charged my credit card prior to arrival but it was the Somerset that billed the Credit Card. The Somerset also blamed letsbookhotel.com for any additional fees. If I had booked directly with the Somerset they would be able to help me. The Somerset blamed me to a letsbookhotel.com representative for not calling them. These are very dishonest and unscrupulous people.
