We stayed for the day when transiting through Saigon on our way to Sydney. Excellent location, bang in the middle on the city and close to all the tourist attractions. Room upgraded which was appreciated. Very good food options in room service, comfortable bed. Staff extremely helpful and very courteous. Will definitely stay again. An ideal hotel for location in the centre of Saigon. We booked for 3 nights and liked it so much that we booked again for another 2 nights and extended our stay. Great bars and coffee shops nearby. Nice, safe, upmarket area of Saigon. Good for flashpackers / business people.
all reviews » The staff was all so attentive and friendly. They were always so willing to assist us. They helped us make our family trip smooth and enjoyable. They also were especially mindful of our need for a wheelchair and greatly assisted us with that. I stayed at this the Royal Lotus Hotel 3 times in November and December 2013.The hotel is well located. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant manager,the restaurant cashier, and the bartenders. Excellent location,near to many must see spots in Saigon,lovely streets around ,friendly staf, testy food, every day something new. It deserves money you did pay. I warmly recomended for every one... Great location in a nice part of the city. Staff were pleasant and helpful, one guy even arranged to ship some paintings back to Ireland in his own time. Room was very spacious and very clean. We felt very safe and comfortable. The staffs are very polite and pleasant. They really made you feel at home and will definately think of coming back again. Keep it up!. We liked the attentionreceibed from the staff including a man named Jack. All the staff were friendly, helpful and very attentive. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay. The location was excellent ,very central . The rooms in the new section and the front of the old section are quite spacious and comfortable. very friendly staff, 3 minutes of walking from center...very cool hotel I will recommend it and will stay next time. Breakfast could have been better selection but its similar choice to other hotels we've stayed in. Minibar prices 3 times higher than other hotels. The beds are are a bit hard.the rooms in the back are a bit small and the TV has no CNN ,BBC or Australia network ( I know your not there for TV it was noticed by myself and others there). Showers ok but for 4* I would expect more than detachable shower hose over bath with curtain. Also staff never offered map to help with location etc. Only hotel we visited in Vietnam that did have one!. View out the window was the wall of an adjacent building. at night, some corridor lights were turned off. so it was dim and can be scary if you are a single lady staying alone. there's also a musty smell. We always find the Asian beds a little too firm for our liking. Nothing. - room quite small. food was only acceptable. I missed in hotel more information /booklets/ about city, sightseeing tours, city attractions ... no view. Quite noisy on Saturday night. The stairs leading on entrance hotel so high to carry luggages need a ramp. when we had a shower it ran down the wall and all over the floor. Nothing, it's all good. Problem 'n the shower-tub. It was loosong water from the back of the tube and make a lake on the bathroom everytime we got a shower. poor design of bathtub causing water wetting bathroom floor, no view from big window because block by next building just meters away, lack of international cables channels like BBC and CNN. The hotel is noisy, and it's a little overpriced for what you get. It's also impossible to take a shower without flooding the floor in the bathroom. It will be great if hotel designers got to a point where baths where optional, and bathrooms where designed with just a good walk-in shower. booked a double room but given a twin room and was told it was an upgrade.could not get a double room throughout the 3 nights we stayed which was disappointing.no view at all from our room.we were given a room facing another building.needed quite a while to walk to ben thanh market. The room space is very small. The breakfast is just ok. Expensive. Would appreciates if buffet breakfast have more choices. They charge for visitor visit each time usd 20. the room was out of date in air condition and the standered of it , this part should be ratted two star only or more. The hotel needs renovation. The location wasn't in the heart of town. The tours were a rip off.
