The welcoming flower bouquet. The swimming pool. The fact that you felt very safe there. That is was quiet. That the staff was friendly and polite. That it had an ATM right on the premises. The Shalom coffee. The hammocks everywhere. The well kept grounds. That the minimart wasn't that more expensive that shopping for groceries in town. Wonderful to return to our oasis at the end of each day and get away from the so busy city and its traffic! Relaxing and laid back location in great surroundings of gardens, pool and riverside. Shuttle bus and boat service first class. Excellent choice of cares and restaurants in walking distance.
all reviews » We booked this place for our arrival in Vietnam. The apartment is really nice, there is a beautiful pool area, it is a bit like a resort. Good to adapt to the timezone and heat. A bit far from the centre, but you can take the free hotel bus or ferry shuttle into the city. Or grab a taxi. Very kind excellent service in smaller apartments. Very clean and comfortable. Something didn't work it was fixed in a few minutes, very nice staff. Great swimming pool, good restaurant very family friendly. Absolutely 100% for leisure as a couple or family. The location, close to the city but in a quiet area with big swimming pool, suited us perfectly. The boat and bus shuttle service to the city was very convenient although the timetable from the city back to the apartment less so. Everything was great lots of services available for any activities staff tremendous and facilities excellent great place to stay food at restaurant spot on. This accomodation was ideal and if I could rate higher than excellent I would. It was an oasis in a city. Great facilities, relaxing wonderful. food staff and location were excellent -we liked it that much that we rebooked to go back rather than stay in Hoi An. Spacious clean apartment. That there wasn't a choice on bed arrangements on the 1 room apartments. That the bed was a bit hard. Would have been helpful to have details of places to eat and drink nearby, there are a lot but we found them ourselves often by chance. Nothing, really. Since we were 100% satisfied with the small apartment, decided to stay longer and move to a 3 bdr apartment. We moved in and everything smellt really bad since cabinets and curtains get moldy in a very short time if the room is not used. This only applies to buildings very close to the river. Building number 10-11-12... We thought it a pity that basic commodities such as salt/pepper, cooking oil, sugar were not included. It is a nuisance to have to buy basic items as they are usually sold in (too) large quantities. Nothing all great. it smelled funny when you walked in and out of places like old/musty smell but all good. slow service at shalon cafe. Location is a bit removed from places of interest, but it was peaceful to return after a long day of touring, very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Furniture and interior outdated. a little far from the city centre. The fact that my passport was held at reception this is an unacceptable practice by your hotel as if a staff member was not honest it could lead to serious problems.i am not against taking a photo copy. As it is far from the CBD options for eating were few nearby. Price was too high. Staff could be rude and unhelpful. small double bed. At the check in time just asked to pay in advance before say hello, my stay was paid already but they ask me to leave my passeport and deposit money, could you imagine if something happen to me in this big city? No id or passeport on me, people should know they not abble to retain any passeport, it is against the law!! We going for holliday, not to jail!!. Staff had little knowledge of Saigon. Mini market under-stocked & overpriced. No bikes available although we were told there would be. Too far from city centre.
