The hostel itself is good, but the service by the staff is nothing short of amazing! They were friendly from the moment we arrived until we left, after spending the afternoon in reception waiting for our train. We were given a welcome drink on arrival and the room was clean, tidy and looked quite new. It is more of a hotel than a hostel - great for flashpackers or people wanting a bit of comfort on their travels. The afternoon we arrived we went for a short walk to get food and were caught out .

It seems the hotel was repaired not long ago. * Hotel is located in the center of the city, however the place is very quiet (a house is situated in tiny alley, so the windows do not face noisy Pham Ngu Lao street with heavy traffic day and night). * Small morning fruit market at the end of the alley. * Free breakfast at morning. * Free WiFi (really working). They have a good map in their brochure (at least it's easy for me with limited spacial ability) The staff were very helpful and friendly also. They're dependable. The stronger wifi found in the lobby, so most of the solo traveler be around here. It's easy to find new friend here. The dorm room has bathroom inside with hot and cold water.Should put the tip box since the hotel staff is shifting. very well located (in a narrow and quiet alley at a corner of 'backpacker area'), very clean (put off shoes before entering the hostel), breakfast is ok (you can see the cook at work in the kitchen/dining room), aircon & wifi function, staff is friendly and helpful (cu chi tunnels, bus info, airport taxi), there is a modern elevator (5 floors), lockers in dormitory. This hostel exceeded my expectations, friendly staff, good breakfast, very clean, huge computer screens, i stayed in a dorm which has an individual light and sockets, with air-con. I also stayed in a private room with a good tv, and other little features like a laundry basket. Excellent value for money. I don't know why that hotel has only 1 star - should be 3-stars. Hostel was probably recently renovated - everything is new. Room was really clean and comfortable - nice bathroom, flat tv, air-condition. Staff was so nice and helpful :) I will come back to that hotel for sure!!!. The staff at the hostel are so helpful! Even though I checked out at noon my flight wasn't until 9pm and without me even asking they offered to give me a free towel to shower before my flight! Very clean, updated, and friendly! Will definitely stay again. The hostel is nice and clean. its located in backpackers area, very easy to find tours and place for eat. It's a nicely decorated hostel, within walking distance from bars and restaurants of that backpackers area. Rooms are small, but really well set, with comfy beds. Good airport pick-up, rooms were nice and clean, we only have 1 night here but we are happy, we would stay here again if we ever go back to saigon. In a calm little street but not far from the lively"backpackers area" Breakfast is ok but nothing exceptional (you can chose between several menus, the same as everywhere). The hostel is quite and staff is friendly. I will come back your hostel the next time. Clean bed sheet and comfortable linen. It has an elevator. Good location. Cheap - $8usd for a bed in a 6-bedroom hostel. * This is cheap hostel, so some guests could be very noisy. The room door does not stop sounds form the staircase at all. Do not forget to bring earplugs with you just in case. * Do not ask them to call a taxi. You better go to the street and catch it yourself. I've book the female dorm room before. And it was female dorm room at my first night. But at my last stay they put the male guest. I understand that they got to earn the business but notify us before will be appreciated. Other than that the dorm was good!. hand in passport during your stay, at least 1 locker (dormitory) is noisy and hard to open/close, you have to 'book' the breakfast the evening before (what and when). There is no communal area for guests to gather, except for a small breakfast area and computer/lobby couch. So it's hard to meet anyone outside your own dorm. 1. Room/Toilet is not clean daily. 2. The alley of the hostel can be dirty especially after rain. It's located in a rather dodgy alley, behind a smelly market (witch could be a pro for the experience of going to the market). They only clean the bathroom 1day of 3 days. In a share room this is important . Everybody takes a shower. Unfortunately the first night there was a so called problem with our room and were put in a less nice neighboring hostel. not really a hostel atmosphere. Nothing. Certain staff not very friendly Wouldn't let us check in early On arrival we were told that the private double room we booked was not available and we were offered a bunk room at same price. The room was a littlebit smal and the only one little window in front of a balcony of another house, but that was not a problem for me. Staff was not always very nice. Make sure you tell them in advance what you want for breakfast>. Dirty, filthy alley way. Nearby restaurants in rainy reason create hygienic concerns. No blanket provided.
