Great little hotel, nice and cozy with halal eating houses left, right and directly in front of the hotel. The hotel is located to within sight of the Ben Tanh South Gate. We could easily walk to other shopping area such as Saigon Square 1 and there is also a park to interact with the local facing the Ben Tanh North gate. Getting around in taxi for a family of 6 is also easy as most of the taxi are 7 seaters and we can easily get everyone in a single taxi to get to our destination. We mostly ut.
all reviews » I love Halo hotel. I feel at home with them. Been staying here for 4 times. The Hotel is very conveniently located for shopping in Ben Thanh Market and nearby shopping centers. Simple yet homey. The staff name Nam is so accommodating. Even if he is off-duty he will see to it that our taxi will arrive to bring us to airport. We have recommended the hotel to our friends and they also love it. I just have a suggestion. Maybe u should offer buffet for breakfast so that the hotel will have mo. Hotel staff is friendly with limited english conversation.near to retail market for shoppers.You may see only hotel staff have a smile on theirs face, but not public.Hotel allow you to put your belonging at the lobby while you shopping, if you have to take night flight. The hotel is in a great location, market at the bottom of the street, travel company next door. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would say there again. The size of the room is just nice for us and the interior of the room is very nice. Very near to Bhen Than market and muslim restraunt. The staff were really friendly. Street vendors following you around and most of them are selling the same thing, fans, lighters, bookmarks. Nothing. nothing!. Roof needs some repair, water comes in, and is on the 7th floor , an accident waiting to happen. Internet connection in the room is bad. Less communicate staff - during the blackout in HCM, it seems that Halo Hotel not affected. Later we found out that our room (which at the back side) affected. We wouldn't know if we didn't asked due to many people gathered at the hotel lobby. We even caught a night staff pee-ed while the lobby-toilet's door wide open o.0. The construction of the bath meant that the water went all over the floor. No tissue & foc drinking water. Hotel was pretty noisy. Thin walls, people coming and going at all hours. So if your a light sleeper I wouldn't recommend. Like most hotels in Vietnam the best was very firm. some of the staff at reception - unfriendly and impolite. noise at night. staff is really nice and willing to help but there level of English is not sufficient , the only girls in the reception do understand.
