I enjoyed my stay in tu linh with a bunch of friends. "Bi tuan" aka Tim treated us very very good and provided us the best service. Whenever we need help, he will jus tried his best to satisfy our request. He is very friendly, patience and nice guy. He made us feel like goin back to Hanoi again and stay in tu linh. The rooms are very clean, tidy and comfortable. And the buffet breakfast is very very good. The stay in tu linh makes us feel like staying at home. I will highly recommend whoever in.
all reviews » The staff was outstanding. We arrived at 445 am and showed up to the hotel knowing our room wouldnt be ready. They offered us tea/coffee and a place to freshen up in the lobby/restaurant and were extremely helpful with restaurant suggestions and activities we wanted to do. Very friendly and accomodating to travelers. Since I do alot of business travel, this hotel definitely does an outstanding job working with its guests to make a great stay. The staff were absolutly amazing- From the manager down to the waiter! Tim, the first manager we met, couldn't of been any more helpful when it came to, not only to our stay at their Hotel but travelling and exploring Hanoi and the rest of Vietnam! Perfect. The Hotel it's self is clean and well maintained. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable. The rooms are nice and have modern and clean bathrooms. Staff really do care a lot for their guests, especially Tim is outstanding. I stayed their for nine nights and felt very comfortable. I also booked a couple of tours through the hotel (including a 2-day-tour to Ha Long Bay) and was very happy with all of them. Before we even arrived, Ms. Bac (Receptionist) was so helpful in arranging the pick-up from our delayed flight. We had the honeymoon suite, which was spacious and comfortable - the rooms are very clean too. The staff can't do enough for you - we booked to come back after a trip up north we loved it that much. staff very welcoming and helpful at all times; excellent breakfasts; very good advice on local and regional sightseeing and day trips and they will make all arrangements for you at very reasonable prices; everything went as organised from airport pickup to drop off; we could not have wanted more. 3 out of 5 nights we were upgraded to a honeymoon suite free of charge. The staff were willing to book train tickets for us for our journey down south. We booked our trip to Halong Bay through the hotel. There was always free tea, coffee & fruit for guests. Awesome staff, very friendly, could return to hotel, take a shower and leave our luggage even when no longer had a room (did ha long bay and Sapa afterwards) - so the opening statement upon arrival held very true: " this is now your home in Hanoi". Excellent service - staff allowed us to shower in an empty room when we got back from Sapa at 5am in the morning. They also allowed us to have a late check out on our last day as it was raining heavily outside and we wanted to rest in the room. It's a nice hotel with excellent staff. Tam in particular did everything he could to be as helpful as possible. Every time we saw him he was happy to see us. He also let us shower on our return from halong Bay when we weren't even staying there. The customer service here is 5 star which just made the experience excellent. Breakfast is good and filling, I like the fact they offered free food all day. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The value for this hotel is great. This is a two star hotel with five star service. The staff knows us by our first name. The hotel provides a lot of different tours and helps to organize the travel plan. I strongly recommend this hotel because the service and the value. The staffs were super nice to us, up-grated us to a better room without charge. This is probably the best inexpensive traveler hotel that I have ever been to in asia - we had a much more expensive hotel booked for us (~$100 /night in Hanoi!) the night before and this was just as good. Nothing. absolutely nothing - fantastic value for money tip: ask for room at back of hotel if possible to avoid possible street noise. During our 5 night stay we stated in 3 different rooms. The wifi on only worked when we were in the honeymoon suite. Although there was wifi down in the common areas. Slightly outside the main part of the Old Quarter - need to walk at least 15 mins or catch a cab. Nothing. The room are a drabby, and looks nothing like the pictures suggests. Our first room had mold on the walls. Fortunately, the hotel changed our rooms immediately and upgraded us. We were on the 2 floor which meant we heard everything on the first floor, kitchen, dinning area. We couldnt sleep in. There is really nothing that can be complain about my stay here. Everything is just perfect. The room had glass between room and bathroom (incl toilet), with blinds operated from the outside. This was more funny that anything. I would improve the quality of towels and sheets. I was on the first floor, just above the restaurant and it was a bit noisy during breakfast time. Nothing. Nothing!. A bit noisy coz too close to the streets, and there were lots of hair on the floor in our room. Get a few quotes for tour prices if you have time. The room in our first stay wasn't very clean. The second stay was very well. much better. nothing didnt like. location good but not the best. Upper room was little bit noisy because of traffic. Nothing. Not too much places to eat nearby. Missed a bit on the details when it came to both cleaning and renovation. Not really maybe only that room was a bit small but looking at price it is no problem. Do not have any complaints. No supermarket nearby. Breakfast is so so.
