The hotel is very clean. The decoration is great. It seems that you are staying in an western style home. The location is not in the heart of town, which it excellent because is quiet, not noisy. You can take a Taxi from downtown in 5 minutes far and paid only 1 US dollar. The owner is very hospitality. He can speak english very well and he advice an excellent food shop which is very famous among the local people and very cheap. We had our dinner there every night during staying there. It is w.
all reviews » After staying on the main road in Dalat and the noise when we moved here the peace and quiet was welcome. Staff were excellent and. It's a 15/20 min walk or a taxi is about 30,000vnd to dalat centre. Room was bright and comfortable, breakfast was good. Roof area was excellent to sit out in the evening with no traffic noise. Staff, Mary, was excellent. She looked after ALL of our needs, her English was very good and all of her suggestions for sightseeing, eating and generally having an adventurous time, were perfect. Thank you Mary, your professionalism and warmth made us feel welcome and at home. The staff were very helpful with any requests that we had and went out of their way to help us when we had to change our flights. Great breakfast. Located slightly out of town which was nice and quiet and taxi into town only a few minutes. very pleasant stay in here, people are so nice and supportive, they can answer every question you facing.Quiet environment, and walkable distance to the Domain church, which is special and worth seeing. I stayed at the YK Home Villa Dalat Hotel for 3 nights and was very happy with my room. Clean, cool and comfortable and very quiet. The bathroom, although basic was clean with plenty of hot water ( an essential in the tropics ! ) The hotel is run by Mary, with help from her brother Tien and their parents and are friendly and helpful with Mary speaking excellent English. I took one of the organised tours around the countryside and although the weather was wet I enjoyed my day. I thoroughly recom. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the city.The Superior room was a good size. A good compendium. A nice deck. Easy interesting walk from the city. The room had a fridge. The price was right for what we got. Nice staff. Nothing to complain about here - but be prepared to walk or get a cab. Being a little further out of town and up some hills made walking difficult but manageable. Taxi was cheap to organise trips into town. Small hot water system in bathroom so showers had to be short. A nuisance but not too bad. Nothing except the bells that went off at 4am every morning for a call to prayer. even though not in the centra of city, actually the city is not big, you can walk to the centra, and taxi is anywhere , not expensive. A bit far away from central market... The location.(But taxi can be called at the front desk in a very short time) Breakfast is not that satisfying. The bell from the church rings at 5 every morning. Breakfast. I'm vegetarian and they didn't have any choice besides coffee and tea for me. Its about 20 minutes walk from the center of Dalat - over a hill. Further from the centre than expected, though taxis were cheap. sounds. The location of the hotel may put some people off as it is on a quiet back street at the bottom of a hill some 20 minutes walk from the market area but don't let that put you off. The couch was a shocker and should be at the dump. Hand shower over the bath was ineffective and impossible to use properly. The bed was extremely hard. No kettle, cups, coffee or sugar in the room. We would have paid more for a different hotel if we had known the negatives mentioned above. Price.
