The owners of Tara beach really look after you and ensure you have everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Breakfast included, right by the water and they provided affordable transport to the city and local attractions. Definitely a place to relax and unwind and I'd definitely stay here again.

I liked it because it was budget-friendly - simple and efficient, friendly and comfortable and right before the ocean. I also liked the extensive grounds for strolling.
Tara Beach resort was absolutely perfect. Lovely staff, beautiful location and great price. I believe we stayed in the best resort on the island.

Due to the location, it is a little bit on the windy side of the bay however transport can take you to other swimming sheltered spots if need be.
At first wondered if location a little far out. BUT the staff make sure there's no disadvantage and will run you into town, etc for same cost as closer resorts do. Shower hot water a little unpredictable but Eric sorted it each time. Great guy!.
Just a minor point - the dinner menu was quite limited. But restaurant not far away anyway.
Note you won't be able to walk to Vila from here, but Eric and Vince took us anywhere we wanted to go - day or night.
