Clean comfortable big rooms, comfortable bed, friendly helpful personnel, pretty fast Wi-Fi with a strong signal (the thing not easily available in Tashkent). It takes 20 minutes to get to the center of the city with a taxi but cabs are easily available and cost about $3. Breakfast became better - small selection of cheeses and vegetables is now available in addition to traditional food. I am impressed by the very efficient and friendly way in which the staff helped me in every possible manner, including informations about the city, taxi reservations and communications. The restaurant, while not unexpensive, offers a good choice of meals and good value for money. The breakfast is outstanding, considering the local standards.
all reviews » Nicely presented, free upgrade to a deluxe room, free pick up at the airport, easy and efficient check in at 4 am in the morning. We liked the breakfast, there were eggs, toast, sausages, samsa, fruit, tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet things, etc. A perfect hotel when arriving/leaving and need a hotel not far from the airport. I just stayed one night to transit next city, but staffs are so kind and room is so clean. I think many hotels in tashkent are more high price than this hotel, but it is definitely best price in this city. Free shuttle service from airport is so convinience! if need, send email to that hotel. not too far from the airport, free pickup. confirmation by e-mail by the hotel the day before. easy check in as the receptionists spoke english. walk up but bags carried by staff. large 2 room suite-russian furniture. nice rain shower head. staff was excellent, ready to attend to all your needs and request! rooms are very clean and tidy. Food at the hotel's restaurant is a bit heavy to my taste and there is no alternative available in the neighbourhood. I did not have my laptop with me, so that I couldn't use the internet, given that a computer with monitor wasn't available. A weak wifi signal on 2nd evening, had to go to reception area where the signal was strong. Comment from previous traveller about a room over the restaurant was experienced in live by us. There was a wedding party, and the music was heard, however to be fair after 23.00 it was peaceful. Need to get a taxi to go to the city, but then again it costs only about 2 usd to get to city center (5 000 sum) - 5-10 min drive. beautiful but small pool/sauna did not open until 1000. breakfast was served in a room that doubled as a bar. no omelettes or other hot food made on site. instant coffee. no local round Uzbek bread. could not communicate with staff. had to return to my room 3 flights up to go to the toilet. russian MTV played-not peaceful for breakfast. nothing. The location is not great. A 15 minute drive from the city centre and about ten minute drive from the airport. But as I said they do a free airport pickup and they negotiated a cab to the city for a couple of dollars. Location is very out of the way but we had to make two trips to and from the airport at very early/late hours so we chose to stay at the Hayot which is very close to the airport. Car to downtown or train station takes about 15 - 20 minutes which is fine. The breakfast was not good especially compared to the homecooked offerings at guesthouses elsewhere in Uzbekistan. The water pressure was inconsistent in the shower. Seemed too expensive but found that everywhere in Tashkent. Not the place to stay if you want to see the city--- there's not much around. Swimming pool not really a pool more hydro massage. Dining area depressing and gloomy. Everything was really fine but i did not like thé breakfast room underground with no windows . . . Was not told in advance this is a non smoking hotel No lift. wi-fi in 3d floor dosen't work ((. Very far away from everything! It's good just near by the Terminal3. was this in Tashkent? You had to be in a taxi for at least 30 minutes to get in the center. And the taxi service of the hotel is much too expensive and they're not integer. far away from centre. no elevator in the building. The hotel is far removed from city centre. The local taxi drivers are taken 3-4 the realised prices for passing. The beds were as hard as rocks. We came back late on the 2nd day due to the flight delay. They insisted they needed a room change from the previous night. We had to wait for more than an hour in the middle of the night. We finally got to the different room past 2 AM. This was very uncomfortable and UNPROFESSIONAL. We left the hotel 6 AM in the morning. They had more than 18 hours to prepare the room. I would not stay there ever again.
