First, the value. It was nicer than most upscale hotels we've stayed at, and at half the price. All amenities were for comfort and our stay was great! We even liked the wild turkeys and Nene Geese that wander the greens. For a one-night stay, it was great to have a full kitchen especially when you have young kids and there wasn't really any convenient eating places nearby. It was peaceful and relaxing after spending all day at the beach.

You can not get any kinds of services or cleaness with this price. Pool was small but clean and good. The resort as named has a nice green environment in lava desert. We got a roomy two-bedroom suite with two baths. Everything is good. It was great for a one night stay that we wanted. No convenient hotels/ motels around to accommodate a one night stay for travelers. It was aver well appointed condo. There was a well equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a lovely living room dining room combination. The service and the helpfulness of the manager when asked what to do and where to go. Clean, nice layout,lots of room, very good value,convenient, nice views!. Spacious, great value for money, great location. Good facilities. Good for visiting local friends, relaxing and playing golf. It was a bit breezy at night when went went to use the hot tub (around 8pm). The hot tub water wasn't as hot and we found out later that the heater was malfunctioning. Also, we were greeted with meows while in the hot tub...not sure where the cats came from. the communications system is awkward to use,not efficient. To call back home , you have to get a calling card instead of being able to pick up the phone and dial direct. The room (#E201) we got is next to the parking lot for working vehicles. The staffs talking in the morning waked us up. There are no budget friendly restaurants in the area that we could find,. Everything was perfect. The bill was definitively not accurate at all. The extra five dollars a night for air conditioning!. Slow wireless internet. Long distance from Kona activities and airport. Hidden cost for air-conditioning. Too far.
