How close it was to the prudential center. Originally from Jersey city and a huge devils fan I'm currently living outside philly and thetrip isnt to far and its a great stay if your to tired after the game if your too tired for the ride home. . Very comfortable bed . Very comfortable beds; very clean room! Convenient to airport; appreciate the shuttle service. Breakfast was the usual with choices from eggs, potatoes, bacon, to breads, yogurt, cereal and choice of tea, coffee and juices. Pleasant stay. Pedro was extremely helpful. I had laptop problems (virus), he got it going for me. Guidance on our NY City trips. Printed our flight papers. Very personal man. Joselyn & Jose were tops also. Made our visit pleasurable. Kudos to them!!. This hotel has lot of amazing features like shuttle bus to the Newark Penn Station, Jersey Garden and the Airport. Usefull was also included continental breakfast and the hotel is nice, clean and the pictures match with the reality. Attentive staff, courteous and creative. Need more parking spots. Had to pay for parking over night. I would like to suggest that they add soup to their evening menu in the dining room. Sometimes you want something light to eat. The seats at the bar & at the high tables in restaurant. No backs. Gave me minor back problems. Besides, they look dorkey. At first I thought they were dish trays. The hotel is in the process of some renovations and it would have been good to know that in advance. If there is anything I can say that I didn't like, it would simply be the fact that it was a bit confusing to find. there is a bad smell in some part of the hotel. But it did not affect my stay. Wifi signal weak in room. Hall outside the room was really hot, made the room hot close to the door. Liked it all. Front desk staff was clueless or somewhat uninterested -- basically just ignored me until I looked over the desk down at where staff was sitting. the computer equipment was outdated. The food was OK. There was a smell coming from shower drain. The road system around the hotel can be very complicated, so if you're driving here be sure to get VERY good directions. EWR train station (NJ Transit connection) is located approx. 300 m away from the hotel, but not possible to reach by walking. Instead you have to wait for an hourly hotel shuttle to NJ Penn Station. Carpet is bit older. Nothing, all good. The elevator is slow to close. well, if there is any... email contact not so handy?. Staff were friendly but missed a phone message that was left; housekeeping did not always put things back to where they should be; parking is too crowded and spaces should be limited to avoid accidents or damage to rental car. as a family going for a getaway the hotel location is not the best.( would probably be great for someone fliing into NJ as it was next to the Airport) It worked out OK for us as our purpose of the visit was to see the sights of NYC and the hotel had a shuttle to get us were we need to be but when you were back at the hotel there wasn't much to do in a walking distance. Nothing. I have no complaints. The snow that fell all day. Noisy guests in other rooms. Inadequate laundry facilities. Limited (free) shuttle hours to Penn Station. Wi Fi options disconnect very frequently. The room door did not close tightly. The parking space may be too small for the number of guests. It was normally complete. Parking is a little tight but I found a spot. next to laundry- no cut off time for guests. we had an early flight and 5am wake up call. People were using washer and dryer until 1am which kept us awake!!. Nothing. All good. Minimal restaurant in hotel, nothing else nearby for dinner. Breakfast quite adequate. -the ripped sheets... - no place to sit for breakfast. Room was fairly recently painted, so a little stuffy. Unable to open windows. But, those were only minor complaints. Airport/shuttle connection tenuous Noisy a/c. Inaccurate coaching service from/to airport. The employees stand right outside the entrance and smoke. You have to walk through a wall of smoke. Nothing. No variation in the daily breakfast. None.
