The room was in excellent condition. Perfectly cleaned smelling fresh and and luxuriously designed The view from the 37th floor was to die for especially at night. I could see the Empire State Building, Crysler Building and all the others that lit up the night sky. The other thing that I liked was that shops and banks were walking ddistance away. Truly the city that never sleeps. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would reccomend it anytime. My visit to New York Citey will be.
all reviews » Loved the location, the staff were excellent, we were upgraded upon arrival for no additional cost. The staff made every effort to make sure we were taken care of---oh, except for the day doorman. We needed a cab--- very easy to get by ourselves---but the doorman insisted on flagging one for us. But, then he got involved with a couple checking in. We had to leave and we kept telling him...so, we flagged our own cab. No big deal. We loved it the staff was great! The view from both windows were beautiful! A great overview of the city. My order for rose pedals, champagne and snacks put an extra romance to our trip. minibar was in the room. Complimentary wine and cheese were offered down the hall. Access to local shopping and dining. It was an overrall great experience and would would definitely use their services again. Excellent rooms with awesome view. Staff except at reception, was good. Staff at Ski line lounge was very good. Food/refreshments not catered for Muslims guests. Lounge time till 8:00 PM was too short. Should be open till mid-night. As there are no bidets provide, would appreciate if toilet showers are installed near commodes for being hygienic reasons. From start to finish, the staff was amazing. Friodnly and very helpful. They were kind enough to upgrade us to a two bedroon suite which was fantastic. Hotel location was perfect for the meetings we had in Manhattan. Great value for money, would definitely consider staying there or at another millenium property again. Very nice hotel impressive lobby and public areas we were on the 40th floor with fantastic windows Empire State Building and Chrysler Building were right in front ! Good pool and gym and if you are in west tower access to Skyline Club for breakfast and complimentary drinks with panaramic views. Great Location - nearby Grand Central Station but at the same time a very quiet block somehow "hidden" from the crowd and noise. The view from our room was also fabulous - we were able to see the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building and many other of the stunning NYC skyline. The view of the city was amazing, everything is in walking distance from times square to central park. No need to take a cab even in winter. We were able to check into our room at 9:00am on a Friday. Room was clean and luxurious. Amazing view and location! Nice, spacious and comfortable room! The pool was nice, but opening hours were inconvenient so unfortunately we weren't able to use it much. The staff is not so good, we complained at reception about very noisy bed but nobody cared, the used coffee in the room was not every day replaced, at breakfast they were often "surprised" by the number of the guests and there was not enough food, the food variation is very limited, the swimming pool looks very out of date. Nothing. newspapers in the morning would be nice; the lounge is "ok" and evening cocktails could be expanded to include additional spirits; when i had to urgently contact another resident the person that time at the reception counter was all but helpful and refused to identify the room, I had to find other solution. Breakfast area crowded, ran out of food at busy times.No full restaurant in hotel. No (security) personnel on side entrance direct to West tower. Service in suite uneven--we had difficulty getting clean glasses (and removal of dirty areas) in mini bar, though there was a big emphasis on checking usage of mini bar. TV in bedroom blacked ability to shut door to sitting room. Not much variety in the complimentary breakfast.. Breakfast wasn't good at all!small variety of foods,generally very poor breakfast!Parking was very expensive and the guy in the front gate of the hotel was very rude!. There are certain things (mostly related to room service, checkout process, continental breakfast, etc.) that need serious attention. Overall I recommend the hotel but only as a 4-star not a 5-star one. Continel breakfast was included in the price but considering the room price, the breakfast could have been better. thought the pool could do with smartening up. Not the ideal location for tourists. Too far from everything. Your pushy bellboy demanding $1-2 per bag while 3 of the bags were laptops was off-putting. The breakfast room on 30th floor was not conducive for the large number of guests. Staff was not prepared, tables not cleared in time. Some guests were standing while eating. Breakfast served included serial, fruit, juice and breads only. Definitely not for hungry men. Open access shower caused extensive flooding in bathroom and staff unconcerned when informed.Reception and concierge remote and not helpful.No restaurant in hotel due to refurbishment. The breakfast was empty. There are only 3 lifts, which seem a little slow. Shower pressure was a little low and shower head awkwardly positioned too close to one corner of the enormous shower. The is no specific address on the emails as to the location of the Hotel which caused some issues with the taxi drivers. Food from room service can be better, elevators are way too slow. Why the breakfast was changed continental? Is it because of too many occupants? And I am still verifying the bill... The gym facilities were rather limited, with several machines out of service. the breakfast was poor the looby at entrance and the sitting area should be bigger. Unable to take daughter (aged 12) in Sky Lounge between 5.00 & 8.00pm. Food could be more better. Desk clerk changed our room to queen bed instead of our reservation and said he was giving us a free upgrade. I checked account and found additional charges but Marcos at front desk was nice and removed. Stain on couch in which the staff attended to immediately. Wifi did not work that well. Went to buffet breakfast $100 for the two of us , with tip Come on! Really? Staff was great, but....even by New York standards, over the top over priced. the place for breakfast is too small. Breakfast, checkout. They wanted to charge $178 for a late checkout (an extra 3 hours)!. nothing.
